'PUT DOWN THE KNIVES PICK UP THE GLOVES' JIMMY EGANS BOXING ACADEMY DOING THEIR BIT! 

Jimmy Egan's Boxing Academy in Wythenshawe Manchester have set up a campaign at their gym aimed at local youth's who maybe tempted to go down the wrong path in their life and let them know through boxing, there is another way to live your life.
With the rising use of knife crime in the UK recently, coaches at Jimmy Egan's, Shaun and Steve Egan, together with Mark Taylor they have come up with the mantra 'Put down the knives, pick up the gloves' boxers use their hands nothing else. Fighting for the community!'
We went along to visit Jimmy Egan's this week to find out about the project.
