The flight attendant told her to find a vacant seat until the beverage service was complete, when delta Karen snapped back, “What am I, Rosa Parks?” The old man told her that she “isn’t black … this isn’t Alabama and this isn’t a bus,”. THEN she popped off!

As an older man, what some people may not understand is there are time you NEED to eat something when you need to take you pills for any number of health issues you develop as you age. Some would say "just take your pill before you fly" but many pills are what are known as on demand, like an emergency inhaler. A person can feel minor chest pains and need to take a pill or feel light headed due to sugar issues. My point is never assume a person's situation.

I had some old guy while I was working tell me I should have a mask on. I told him "so you saw me from your apartment, came outside, and decided to come up to me to tell me to put a mask on while you dont have a mask on? Wouldnt you be safer staying in the house?" I had an encounter like this. Me and a group of friends went to watch a movie and we purchased tickets for the last row. We happened to be the first people there. 3 very obviously mentally ill white girls stepped into the theatre and sat in the last row also. The entire time they were yelling, complaining, and throwing a fit over how we were sitting in the last row. As time went on, other people tried walking up to the last row to get to their seats but the three of them would just shout “no!!!!” at them until they left. Like they were some house alarm or something. During the previews you could hear them complaining about Covid, how they shouldn’t even have went to watch this movie, how they’re not gonna enjoy it now that we are sitting here. To top it off, they kept side eyeing us and making this really ugly face. When the movie ended 2 of the girls left and 1 stayed behind and just proceeded to stare at us for a whole minute before leaving. The funniest part is, they weren’t even wearing masks. Why go crazy over Covid and make everyone uncomfortable when you’re not even following protocols yourself? It’s like you’re using it as an excuse to try to control others.

Both situations were unprovoked and he said it's not something he's experienced there until now. I live in a small town in Australia and have recently been getting dirty looks wearing a mask by people unmasked and also seen a couple of people lose their minds getting asked to leave stores unmasked (which is why I wear mine).
