You are correct. It is so simple, too. Russia withdraws from Ukraine completely, including Crimea, and returns full control to the Ukrainian government, aka the people. Then Russia begins payment for every element of physical destruction to Ukraine due to its attack, and an international tribunal assesses what life in Ukraine is worth that was either killed or injured by Russia and puts that on the restoration bill of Russia to Ukraine. The international retribution tribunal then begins to collect the debt due from Russia to Ukraine. Very simple.

If you just rule out any compromise as a matter of principle you just condemning Ukraine to defeat

Ukraine wouldn’t be a war zone, infrastructure and properties would be intact. A lot of people wouldn’t have had to flee and become refugees. etc.
