My main goal as a deer habitat manager is to try and figure out how to get the deer to spend a disproportionate amount of time on the property I'm working on. The main way to do this is to build up the habitat.
But once the habitat is in place, it's time to do the work to link up those habitat features to make more predictable movement and hunting opportunities.
In this video, I discuss how we laid out the travel corridors on this Wisconsin property, focusing on the different terrain features I honed in on when building these corridors.
