Putting Floors in with NO EXPERIENCE | SCRAP METAL floor pans in the 63 Meteor!

Hey Y'all! Welcome back, we are going to be putting floors in the 1963 Mercury Meteor. It goes pretty well, but im sure sheet metal guys are going to have some hard opinions about it. Its not perfect, but were working on floors, not a fender!
Now that the floors are one piece (kind of) we will be able to start driving this car, even just around the block.
I am very curious to see what comes up as the next problem. We still do not know why this car was parked, what was wrong? Hopefully it was rust, and we've fixed that.
Let me know what you think, have you done something similar?

HI IT,, IN THE 70S ME AND MY FRIENDS USED TO GET SOME TRAFFIC SIGNS AND GET OLD LIC.PLATES AND FORM AND WELD AND THATS THE FLOOR W/ PAINT ,,,IT WORKS.. YOUR DOING A GREAT JOB!!!!!!!!!!!! I wish you had fully welded the patch panels in . You have a welder make full use of it doesn't have to be a neat job but it will be stronger than what you have

Sure, but this will be good enough! The rest of the car will rust out before the patches fail

@@itgarageben in the UK it would never pass inspection. It's your car so do as you wish but if you do want to improve your skills then crack on with the welder
