I watched flambass for a year before i started playing. It was like starting in kindergarten after graduating high school. I was seal clubbing while being a seal myself! Watching him taught me all the basics

It's a really fun ship, takes a little to get used to the shell flight times but it's so much fun. Few things are as satisfying as melting a broadside bb with dm.

38 knot Missouri is more effective than 34 knot Missouri for that very reason, the extra bit of speed when you build for it lets you compensate for the nerfed gunpower, it can actually be effective when it has the speed and stealth to get better angles

settings>controls> bottom left (alternateve interface mode) turn that to full there are also a bunch of other things that you can turn on and off over there such as show smoke screan border, show smoke screan timer, show or allways display timer for fires, flooding and other modifires, i highly reccomand to turn ALL thous ON, to this day i do not know why many of thous are OFF by default, such important information is hidden away in the settings menu for new players for no fucking reason

That is not true at all, there are many different destroyer lines that have superb concealment. for example, I have had a 260k damage game in the Shima with 300k spotting damage and I wasn't spotted 1 time. I highly suggest finding a play style you enjoy in the dd and use the ship for their advantages. Playing a DD is almost like a chess game at the beginning of every match, spotting while staying alive till end of the game is crucial.

@@togood2222 well then you are unusual DD player. 80% of the time… all the DD’s are dead before most of the BB,s have even had a chance to get into position.

@@northernzeus768 that is unfortunate, true DD players understand the importance of surviving till the end and contesting caps while staying alive. Unfortunately I do agree with your assessment overall with DD players, I view many rush in to contest a cap in the start of a game and are countered by radar +DD coordinated play. Whenever I play in a match, I always ask or at least give my radar cruisers a heads up for my intentions that game. I have to say most people love when I play DD, constantly lit targets 24/7 & I stay ahead to spot torp salvos towards those same cruisers who protect me. Warships can be a fantastic game when the team works together and supports each other. I look forward to playing a match with you in randoms -togood2222

Dont you mean petro? Desmo can be overmatched by quite a few ships & from every angle and if you catch her broadsies from any distance she gets sent back to port quite fast. Petro cant be overmateched by most (except for Yama higher calibre and even then you need to know where to aim) and if you catch her broadsies from distance you need to get lucky to find the cit. Not to mention that she has a quite small superstructure and has therefore a good HE resistance. Profile from petro and des mo is also a big difference. Petro sits VERY low and has almost a cut below waterline while des mos cits sits quite high.
