Schezo is basically a harem anime protagonist, but instead of getting into weird and wild situations, he just says stuff that would get him arrested with everyone giving a realistic reaction
With how hard he fumbles his words in this game, it’s safe to say that he deepthroats the whole damn leg rather than simply putting his foot in his mouth
Frog wizard Well to be fair he just had that sword for show. The last time he used that sword "properly" was in Puyo Puyo Sun where he blindly flails his sword around in a few cutscenes, and tries to bald Satan in the final battle cutscene
the funny thing is that this is actually one of the more innocent entries in the puyo puyo franchise, in the earlier installments people literally called schezo a "pervert"
I still can't believe they actually toned Schezo's terrible wording *UP* instead of censoring it. Also, the Ocean Prince now has a rather... neutral-sounding voice.

wtf, the guy who voiced Schezo apparently does not have a page on wikipedia, probably meaning he hasn't done that many rolls so far in his carrier. This needs to change.
Puyo Puyo is a very foreign game, though, in its concept. Normally, cutesy Japanese games NEVER have dubs, so it's rather difficult to come by any professional actors willing to do it, much less many that can actually pull off the tone. Christine was a guarantee since her voice is naturally adorable, but the majority of the cast are pretty new to the voice acting side of things. Amitie, Sig and Satan (alt) were among the highlights that copied their Japanese counterparts almost too well.
@@Medachod However, there are a few voices that are very well known, Satan: Xander Mobus Ex: Matt Mercer Lidelle and O: Erin Fitzgerald (I think she was both?) And some others (this is late but shh)
Biggerboot actually, ESRB doesn't play the games, instead they're given a video of "all the most objectionable Content in the game" I don't know who makes that video
It's funny how most games get censored here in the West to make it better for everyone. This game on the other hand, I think added MORE innuendo for the sake of comedy so Schezo' s joke wouldn't be lost on American players

ArmoredChocobo, because Schezo's way of talking is very old hat for any character that was also from Madou Monogatari alongside Schezo. Such a reaction doesn't work for them they way it does with the Tetraminos and Fever characters. Heck Witch frequently busts his chops by baiting him into the original exchange that forever marked him as a pervert from way back in Madou 2, with her flustering him by playing his part and the irony of it being something he actually said first going right over his head.
About that. Other that the innuendo about it every time you win, I actually noticed it's kinda clear, like it's made of crystal or something. And it's huge. (Penny face)

How come a more mature game like the Fire Emblem x Atlas crossover game gets the slightest bit of suggestive material removed, and yet a game with a childish tone and art sytle manages to get 9 minutes of the most borderline suggestive dialogue into their game and STILL gets an 10+ rating!?
*Childish tone and artstyle* Appearances help. Plus, the kiddies won't really understand all the weird dialogue, while the SMT/FE crossover had outfits that you'd have to explain, especially with a (slightly) more realistic artstyle. I'm not saying it's justified or this is the actual thought process. I'm saying what I think, and I could be wrong about that either way.
ES21007 But even more mature scenes got censored despite the higher age rating and having even worse instances in the game, like with the supports between Saizo and Beruka in FE:Fates. The two, being assassins, have a mature and meaningful conversation about their jobs, kills, and how this affects everyone's views of them in a world racked with war. This got censored to the two literally just staring at each other for 4 lines in the english version. Yet at any given moment any of your (non-plot important) characters can die, or even in casual be terribly injured ("My bone should NOT be sticking out like that!"), as well as Peri existing. She's a psychopath to the point her name is a acronym for different ways of committing murder. But the meaningful conversation got censored?
@@ES21007 I remember being 10. I would have gotten at least half of the innuendos. So yeah only very little kids would take this at face value. This protects NOBODY.
