I know this video is old but I thought this was great. I'm trying to find a cost effective way to showcase a child's costume. I see what you are going for and I appreciate it. I am going to have to play around with it to suit my needs but I think it is going to work great. Thank you for taking the time to make this.

Thank you for the comment. Yes and older video and I'm still using the one I created in this video for a costume of mine. It may not work for everyone, but it does the job and saves ya a lot of money. Plus it's a fun little project.

I appreciate the creativity but I fail to see how this can be used in any way to display a cosplay, unless its something without feet/ boots. Its basically a pvc minecraft armor display. How exactly do you propose displaying say a set of stormtrooper armor on it? Or a Deadpool costume/ Spiderman costume? I hate to be negative but it really seems like a waste of time to have watched this and you didn't even display anything to show how "perfect" it is for displaying your cosplay. Perhaps in the future you could refine the design into something workable but for now, the only sort of costume you could display with this would be something like a ghost, just a sheet draped over a frame...

Place cardboard on the torso gap. Then tape cardboard on the leg gap and cut the cardboard to look like flat Stanley legs. Then spray expanding foam on it. For the arms it may be easier to use pool noodle/pipe insulation.
