Love your comedic side! This is so helpful. I needed to see how the pipe melts if too hot. I'm trying to make swords for kids and wasnt sure how hot to get the pipe to flatten it and not burn it. Now I can try it. Thank you!

They have a pipe cutter at Harbor Freights for about $8. It's super easy to cut the pipe with it.

I got a question i want to make a sythe from naruto hidans sythe and i was wondering how could i connect 2 pvc pipes together without them being wobbly should i get a connector or something? Idk please reply as fast as u can :)

Yes you should use a connector that is made for that size pipe so it fits snug. And make sure you use the proper adhesive. Good luck!

Hope you're doing okay, because PVC releases hydrogen chloride when it's heated, and that's lethal.

hi is there any sort of clay or other material that would stick to pvc pipes. im a super inexperienced crafter, and i need to make basically a fake wizard staff for a school project, but it needs to be hollow to fit in arduino components. I wanna use these pipes but i worry i wont be able to make it look like wood and dont know what sort of material would stick to it

I'm not an expert but if you're still trying this- you might be able to use foamclay if you sand the pvc pipe first and add contact cement under it

I have only ever connected PVC to EVA foam. I easily attached that using contact cement (weldwood or barge brand worked fine). I suppose it would depend on the type of material you’re using.
