Note: There's a point where I mention ST La'an only having a chance to hit in the first round, but I should have been clearer she has a chance to trigger each HIT, not just each round, so while she may not get burning on immediately, she will still very likely trigger it in the first round, you just miss the isolytic damage on any shot before it's triggered.

The TOS Kirk and TOS Spock or TOS Uhura used to be a go to crew, however now it doesn't really scale well into higher levels. TOS Kirk's ability increases damage by a percentage of Defense, but that comparatively isn't a lot when ships are doing 10s or 100s of million in damage Similarly the TOS Spock ability reduces the Critical Hit Damage done, maxing out at 150% if you've got him at tier 5. That faces the same issue where most player's Critical damage is now between 400-1000%, so if you're taking 150% off of like 750%, they're still critical hitting for 600%, and in the mean time, you're still doing no Crits yourself. You're also then not doing Isolytic damage from Ransom as well. I could see it still working at lower levels, but it does get beaten quickly once in the 40+ category I think
