I defeated the Implacable, but by my own arrogance and stupidity, it managed to board me in the last minute. Lost the boarding. I got a whopping 3,000 experience points for sinking the Implacable and between 200,000 and 300,000 coins (there's no transcendence).
Both the Redoubtable and Implacable are third-rate ships-of-the-line. The Implacable is a very rare ship. It's the most powerful third-rate ship-of-the-line in the game. It's usually employed by elite PvPers (players) to hunt down other players. You don't build an Implacable with just any woods either. You use the very best woods of your choice since it's a very valuable ship. No one uses it to hunt AI since it's too valuable to be employed to hunt for AI ships. Moreover, those who sail in the Implacable are CONFIDENT that they can win against other players since if not, they would not sail in one.
My opponent joined my versus AI battle knowing I had the upper hand (I had three fourth-raters helping me, by chance) against an enemy's AI third-rater. He came to aid the AI Russian ship. The player belongs to France. My three fourth rater AIs were offset by the Russian AI third-rater. His Implacable is quite much stronger than my own Redoubtable. There is no nearby French port, so he sailed there TO HUNT FOR PLAYERS. All in all, he was most probably an elite player. It's very painful to lose an Implacable.
In the end, my ship was taking in water, but it was okay. I would survive easily. My ship still had a healthy health to stay afloat. This was not my previous Redoubtable. That one was already sunk in the morning. Two Vs. one. All third raters. One very good player. Could have won if it was one vs. one. This was its replacement. One replacement per 24 hours for DLC ships.
I intend to only play DLC ships in PvP. The reason is I want to help others in PvP. YOU KNOW WHAT IS FUNNY? REDOUBTABLE Versus IMPLACABLE. Such fitting names to both of us (Me and Izaki).
