As a amateur thats been struggling for awhile (and contemplated giving up the sport) its a good reminder that people of all levels go through bad slumps. Hang in there! You got this.

Sarah you just keep grinding, I know the struggle as i bowled the best i have in awhile two years ago and now these last two season have been completely awful. Thank you for being willing to show your emotions on camera as its nice reminder that everyone is human. As i tell my HS bowlers, each time we throw a ball, bad or good, that shot is over we are on to the next one. Best of luck to you this weekend. just some information on the gas station with all the options. when you go up in elevation the vehicle doesn't require as much octane because the air is thin, unless you have a turbocharged or supercharged engine. Id stay away from the 88 because all it is is 87 with more ethanol in it and you'll just get less fuel mileage. so in all if you just drive a normal car in the higher elevations 85 will be the same as 87 closer to sea level. Hopefully I did an ok job explaining this. lol.

I feel you on traveling a lot. That's, why I don't want to do PBA, reginals or PBA tours, I will get homesick. I drink coffee a lot instead of Red Bull. If I do reginals or PBA tours, I have to get the NU Blue Hammer since they banned the Purple and the Black Widow Pink.
Always remember, relatively few get to be in the position you are in. Doing something you enjoy, good and bad days. Practice, practice, and practice. When you consider the number of games a week pros like Belmo, Norm Duke, etc. bowled BEFORE they joined the tour, (yes, they were lucky their parents owned a bowling alley), you have a bright possible future ahead.
Sarah we all get in slumps I am in one at the moment my timing is out and other little things my ave went from 190 to 180. Bowled in tournament on the weekend and it was the worst I ever bowled so disappointed with myself. You will definitely bounce back. Probably quicker than me. Hang in there Sarah. I am thinking that your diet may not be good for your bowling performance. It seems like you are drinking way too much caffeine. I love a good cup of coffee in the morning but you cannot live on coffee all day and all night. As an athlete myself I can tell you that the body needs three things to be fit enough to sustain physical activities: 1.) Exercise 2). A good diet 3). Good sleep Best of luck in the future sister ✌

Unleaded fuel has been the standard for about forty years now. Leaded fuel can’t be used in modern vehicles thanks to the EPA and emissions laws. You are in Colorado at high elevation so octane rating shouldn’t matter much but always consult your owners manual for recommended fuel type.
Adversity sucks but you have to face it regardless. How do you dig yourself out of it? You will have to face it some way some how…. Keep going at it directly your slump will go away. Hang in there young lady.

hey sarah rehn here from perth , i have bowled all my life im 49 now since i was 12 i started to bowl. then got so much better still bowling averaging 224 as we speak , but yes i been to now 28 abc tourneys half finished well others like u say a slump hang in thier . bowling just takes me away from the world stress plus when u are good at it its a blast but let me know if u need to talk im all ears
As a fellow bowler that bowls regionals all the time i totally understand and can relate to the driving alone thing it definitely sucks but after awhile you kinda get use to it. Keep your head up girl you will be fine
I hate seeing you cry like that, something must be really bothering you, but you are an amazingly strong woman, whatever it is that ails you, you will come out better getting through it. I dont think I have seen you that emotional before, but it shows your perseverance. I also dont know how you can juggle, work, school bowling, driving and still find time to manage to get some sleep! Hey, hang in there kid .. remember .. slumps and adversity is were you dig deep and improve your skills and yourself. I know, it's painful .. but remember "no pain, no gain" .. you will come out of this "slump" better than ever before. Just remember that .. grind it out .. let this motivate you to do better than you ever have. It will come .. I guarantee it!! .. this is how it all works dear! .. sometimes it isn't fun and it is painful, but again, just like practicing until your fingers bleed, you sometimes have to do the same until your heart bleeds. Being bald most of my adult life so no real insight but your hair looks great when you had it down, life throws us all kind of highs and lows and you're doing the right thing KEEP STEPPING and don't quit, and in no times you will look back and realize that little low was just something that makes you STRONGER
