Thank you very much for this instructive video. But I couldn't help to notice that some people are experiencing problems in changing the modes, this is because Steam configures PXN V9 as a PS3 controller, thus being in PS3 HID mode. To change this you have to exit steam completely from the top left corner; choose "Steam" then choose "Exit". Then plug the steering wheel, it should be able to switch modes now (between D- & X- input). After words you can launch Steam again, and have no problems. I hope this solves it.
Thank you very much! I love Indian guides! Only Indian guides helped me to use this steering wheel. When I bought this Chinese peace of crap, I did not even knew how to connect it properly. Only because of some Indian man with an accent, I realized that I need to hold “mode” button for 3 seconds. And when it stopped working, the only Indian guide helped me to fix this. I really think, that all world rests on Indian guides. always happens to me, whenever I try to play as soon as I connect my pxn to my pc it gets stuck on ps3 again, all I do is thesame process that I do in the tutorial and it gets fix every time. Cheerss God Bless.
My PXN V9 is acting up the issue starts immediately after plugging in the USB to my PC It detects the V9 with the windows connected sound and then disconnects right away.
just try all the basic troubleshooting methods, try it on another pc or a laptop, its hard to pinpoint the cause of the problem since it gets disconnected right away. So if it works on another pc then maybe something on your current set up is messing the wheel. Could be new software dowoaded or games. i had thesame issue but i figured it was caused by a faulty usb port.
I took your advice and uninstalled my mouse driver I wish you would have let me know that there is no way to distinguish the USB input devices before telling me to delete it
brother, I'm really sorry about that, there is a new fix! You need to disabled steam from auto start. so open your pc then go to start up and then disable steam, restart your pc and then viola it's fixed permanently.
Idk if these comments are bots or not but this actually works for anybody out there wondering. Just make sure u restart ur pc after unplugging it like he said and uninstall everything he told u to
that device will be deisabled, you have to restart to make it run again. disabling it wont hurt much the best solution though to this problem is to "Disable Steam From auto start" restart your pc and viola you are not stuck in ps3 anymore. God Bless Brother see you on the road.
Can someone help me mine keeps pressing it's either x and a or y and a or b and a or some kind of combination but just keeps like basically holding them down and pressing them but I don't know
Found an easier fix!! You just need to update the steering wheel device firmware using the updater application that can be found on the company website.
Close Steam, or better yet disabled steam on auto start, J explained this in my second method on how to fix pxn if your stuck on ps3, video also found in my channel.
I have another problem. Asseto corsa is the game im trying to play with my pxn, but when i use the pedals, it dosnt recognize them as an axis, it only recognizes the wheele as an axis. I saw a video that says to put the pxn into d-mode, so i did but it still dosnt work. Instead of an axis, my computer recognizes the pedals as buttons. Can you help?
If the your recognizes the pedals as buttons then maybe has something to do with the Driver, try to update the driver or update your PXN software. That's the only logical response I could think of since I have not experienced that problem on my end. Are you playing Assetto on Content manager? Or the actual game? Happ Driving Brother.
@@ZeroiOSYT try to do the tutorial in this vid, if still did not work try to disable steam, then connect your pxn, or disable steam steam on auto start, restart pc then plug pxn.
Here is how to do it brother. Restart your pc, (if you have it already on and unplug the pxn if you have it plugged in) Now disable steam from auto start (refer to the video on how to disable steam) Restart Pc. Once done just connect your pxn and you are permanently fixed. God Bless.
Hi, this helped a lot. I can't help but notice the City Car Driving icon on your desktop. Mine keeps crashing 😭... Am using a 64-bit Windows 10 PC, RAM of 8GB, Intel Core i5-4430 CPU @3.00GHz
mine is The Home Edition. Try reinstalling the game. You could install it on a different drive or better yet a new fresh drive. maybe it will help, I'm not sure though but just try it and make sure you download from a legit site.
La solución del video funciona, pero hay otro método para arreglar este error. este error ocurre ya que steam configura el volante como mando de ps3, por lo que para que no aparezca como "ps3hid" tienen que cerrar steam desde la pestaña que aparece abajo a la derecha donde al dar click derecho en steam dice "salir" entonces ahí es cuando conectan el volante y les aparecerá como debería. info sacado del comentario de @Q99H
The solution in the video works, but there is another method to fix this error. This error occurs since steam configures the steering wheel as a ps3 controller, so in order for it not to appear as "ps3hid" you have to close steam from the tab that appears at the bottom right where when you right click on steam it says "exit" then that's when they connect the steering wheel and it will appear to them as it should. info taken from @Q99H's comment - Thank you so Much Brother God Bless.
That is something I have not tried coz I am still on Windows 10 Brother, if you feel like it's not working then you just have to choose, ones gotta go, windows 11 or pxn 🙄
Just follow this tutorial, it might solve your problem. Your case is new to me but I think it has something to do with your driver. Let me know then if it worked or nah so I can start digging. Cheerss God Bless.
Hey Brother, if you are not sure, you may UPDATE YOUR PXN to the latest software it will fix the problem, you may also GO TO THE 2ND METHOD it will fix the problem and it's much easier. God bless Bro Keep Driving.
@@thomaselyas9055 just create a new config on your PXN app, then go to AC control wizard set up, make sure the steering wheel is set up properly like the correct turning value because that will palu big in AC, just follow the control wizard set up until finish and your all good to go.

@@biancapulancos7850 try to remap the Controls on the Game settings, you could also use JoytoKey to remap controls and enable controller to work as keyboard. Just look it up on Google.
I tried using the pxn v9 on gt7 ps4 but after 3 minutes it keeps disconnecting i tried recalibrating it but that didnt fix the issue do you have any solution to fix this problem?

i did a permanent fix, you just have to disable steam. Video is also in my channel if you need a guide. but the gist really is to disable steam and it will be fixed permanently.
brother there is a permanent fix already, this problem is caused by Steam. you just need to close steam if its open or better yet, disabled steam on auto start and then reboot pc, once done connect your PXN V9 and the problem will be fixed permanently. God Bless.
@@Jdm3681 if you are stuck on ps3 follow the tutorial or you may just close steam when you boot your pc, disabling it on boot will also help, because steam will auto configure pxn as ps3 sometimes even xbox and it messes up the wheel function as you may have noticed, so closing steam will help, and dont forget to restart pc and unplug pxn. stay safe brother keep driving. you can try to install the PXN V9 driver from the pxn site, and then do the steps in the tutorial if still wont work, try to do the 2nd method (unistall pxn v9 driver from programs then go to device manager, uninstall HID - game controller an USB device, make sure the usb device you are uninstalling is the one where you have the pxn connected. cheerss!
