The ergos are supposed to stimulate rowing on the water. If you did this on the water you wouldn't have your blades buried properly at the catch ; losing leg drive and your blades too deep at the finish which would make you more likely to catch a crab.
Nah I used geometry techniques so many times in my life for example Photoshop and logo design 😂 It's part of my life (BUT I DON'T NEED TO PROVE IT WHILE USING IT SCHOOL)
I absolutely LOVE historical or arithmetic similes for rowing. Maths helps me get through a row - checking my metrics and keeping consistent. But then throw in old world war craft and it gets to another level. Check out Austin’s Tebuchet references and we’re on a medieval battlefield. Love it.
