Great! Why are coaches and trainers not talking more about this. I did many classes and wrong every time. Burpees is often trained like just another workout, but it is extremely technical if you want to maintain form
Or i have athsma so im not running to often unless im out hanging out with friends for im being chased by my brother bc hes gonna throw me out a window
Damn I started running in my toes because it takes just a little bit less energy And when are people like yall gonna fix my waist the area just above the ribs from hurting when I run
This video was spot on. I had no issue rowing on a regular rowing machine, similar to a Concept 2 at my gym. When I decided to switch to home workouts and purchased a water rowing machine, it was painful. The ergonomics were off as you point out. It caused tremendous hip pain and was impossible to keep good form as I did at the rowing machine at the gym. And yes, I'm not as lean as you so there were all kinds of issues with using a water rower with the way they are designed, and being a guy, the footplates weren't far enough apart. I was able to sell it for a decent price and am now saving for a Concept2 rower.
Build up the strength in your knees? 😂 Good luck. Try your hamstrings and quads as a start. Weighted squats are a far different move than jumping or stairs. The goal in squats is to maximize the leverage and minimize the strain on your knee ligaments.
I watched this before going to the gym and found it really helpful! I got into a rhythm of telling myself "push, lean, pull" and it helped me to remember what to do when . I already had the elbows right and only really had to think about the order of pulling back motions.
No, if you're bending you arm at the elbow, it absolutely is the biceps doin' it. The forearms can't suddenly change their function. That's not how muscles work. 🤨
Based on the reviews... I think getting the cheapo 80 buck hydraulic rower might be the best... but using a resistance band instead and use the rower for the footplate and sliding seat.
