PZL-Mielec M18 Dromader fertilizer flight near Mezőhegyes, Hungary 

This PZL-Mielec M18 Dromader came to Hungary in 1994. She flew in Slovakia and Czech Republic as an agricultural plane before. In Hungary she stations in Mezőhegyes with HA-MVB.
The company has an M18 for spraying flights and another one for fertilizer spreading, this one is HA-MTY. She srashed in 2009.03.19.during take off but she has been repaired.
The PZL-Mielec M18 Dromader is a single engine agricultural aircraft that is manufactured by PZL-Mielec in Poland. The aircraft is used mainly as a cropduster or firefighting machine.
Hungarian Air Service bought a lot of M18 Dromader around 1980. They used them for agricultural flights but after 1989 M18s began to disappear. For now there are only two operating in Hungary.
We arrived to the small airfield earlier than the team, so first we could check out the sheeps! : )

During the M18's engine start and test the exhaust pipe flamed so hard, but it is normal for cold starts.

After the engine start and the motor test the plane taxied to the end of the runway. There the pilot stopped the engine while the Weimar loaded the fertilizer to the plane's huge agricultural tank.

The agricultural field was far a little bit so we had to go there by car. The plane sprinkled two layer of fertilizer to the ground.
At the end of the work the pilot made us a low-pass with landing lights.
