Thank you for this video. Swivel is something I need to invest time in but my body is too uncoordinated!

Can you give some advice on developing finger control technique in the German grip? And does finger control develop speed for the Push Pull technique?

I've been practicing a lot lately and my speed is increasing quite a bit but there's a weird spot 140-150 bpm where it's super hard for me to play, I can play pretty comfortable playing 160-180 although sometimes it's kindve hard to start but once I've got it locked Im pretty steady at keeping it in tempo I don't know how to fix it

Ainsley Allen agreed dude. I actually really struggle with 120-140, especially starting and stopping. I just don’t get why it’s so hard for me!

Brandon White I've seemingly got no problem with 130 but once 140 hits I cannot keep it going for longer than 10 seconds im caught between ankle motion or full leg or a mix of both and it just feels super awkward

Hi James...what is the one technique to master first (for playing fast and blast beat) that you recommend? My time is limited to practise the different techniques. Thx for your advice.

Hi, l play heals down at 210 bpm max with good power. It seems when trying to go at higher BPM'S the beater stroke gets shorter from the bass drum batter for speed to increase to higher tempos, Almost like your drum sticks on snare drum, the stroke swing is less at higher speeds?

Do you think there is a benefit, anatomically speaking, to going in-out vs out-in? In other words, does it matter which motion is the one that is focused on, and which motion is the consequence of the other? I've mostly in the past attempted swivel going "in-out" as you do, but since I also play heel-toe, I've started equating the "out motion" with the leg drop of heel toe, and the "in motion" with the flexing of the calf muscle, or the "toe" part of heel toe, sort of combining both swivel and heel-toe, just for the sake of the feel of the motions.

Not really, that's more like being right handed or left handed, follow whatever is more natural to you
