I'm a blackmetalhead and I love to laugh, love to love. Black metal is a powerful expressive tool, the best stuff really comes from something inside you. I can def see how some ppl say its the rap of metal. But like laughter and happiness is also a very powerful emotion. I used to take myself way to seriously, I was so insufferable I swear to the gods. I feel like it's now that I understand empathy more, and my own trauma that I can create the best art I ever have. Don't forget to further your humanity. That's how we beat the incel fascists in our communities. We can want the world to burn without being cruel to other suffering people.

once people stop letting bm be their only personality trait and the ONLY genre you listen to is when you will flourish and stop genuinely caring so hard about what other people are doing. literally anything that is presented as an aesthetic or piece of media for public consumption has any chance to become trendy. that's what happens when you introduce something to strangers and make things accessible to them, ESPECIALLY when you introduce a powerful tool like the internet. like im boggled at how thats so hard for some whiney piss babies to understand. it's common logical sense, it's not hard to grasp at ALL 🤣

Farvann can you listen to the band Scuorn? It's a symphonic black metal band from Italy with lyrics in Neapolitan language. They include traditional Neapolitan instruments in their sound and it sounds fantastic.

Das dachte ich auch zuerst. xD Ich habe jetzt das Video aus der Videobeschreibung gesehen. Also besagt die Egg-Theorie, dass ich erst ein Gott werde, wenn ich sämtliche Leben auf der Erde gelebt habe? Das geht jedoch nicht, solange sich Menschen immer weiter vermehren.🤔Das bedeutet, dass erst die Menschheit aussterben muss, damit ich in der Lage bin alle Leben zu leben? Try listening to anything other than metal. Either you'll be able to take a short rest and get back into metal, you'll become a fan of that genre instead, get sick of it, and return to metal, or you'll accidentally get too involved in the genre, forget about metal, and be asking this exact question but with a different genre

Like the other guy said,try listening to different types of music, explore music genres that interest you, listen to Classical Music if you like it (believe it or not, Metal and Classical Music have many similarities to each other). Now, if you want to continue listening only to Metal, try listening to some more experimental albums, with daring proposals but that meet the conditions to be considered "Metal". Ved End Blues (Almost sure that is not how you spell it,lol) for example, it's a great Experimental Black Metal band, with a lot of influence from Jazz and Classical Music. The Rate Your Music website should help you do both of those things. I hope I helped, and long live Black Metal! \m/

(Continuation of my previous comment) All you have to do is go to the Genres section of RYM, and look for something that interests you, after that, the site will indicate the most important releases of that genre and provide a more detailed description.

I actually do listen to a lot of different genres mostly dream pop, shoegaze, trip hop, electronic music and I love those genres but black metal is still my favourite and it's more of a frustration of not getting captured by anything new and become a bit burned out on listening to what I already know

As a drummer who has definitely messed up the song that is to be played and/or transition(s) I apologize for your drummer's mistakes and can only say it's because we have to think with 4 limbs and sometimes that confuses us. Also it's hard to find good black metal drummers so you can't really fire him easily or anything right?

Man das hat mich ja schon überrascht als du meintest, Vredesbyrd fändest du am besten von Dimmu. Nicht, weil es nicht der geilste Song den sie jemals rausgebracht haben wäre, sondern weil der Song nicht mehr zu den frühesten Alben gehört und du ja mal meintest, du fändest die Band mittlerweile so na ja... Kann ich teilweise nachvollziehen, aber was Vredesbyrd an geht bin ich trotzdem voll bei dir. Das Riff ( kommt einmal am Anfang und am Ende übrigens ) ist der Hammer

I love the instrumentation and creativity of Nokturnal Mortum, but I hate the ideologies they often associate themselves with. Same goes for Hate Forest, although that band doesn't have problematic lyrics for the most part; all of the sketchy stuff they're known for has happened at their live shows.
