Question I had for a time: You talked in a video before (Among other things) about how Dumbledore wasn't good representativity and explained why with the help of our friends Watson and Doyle. I was wondering what other examples of bad representativity you could show, specially in other stuff in pop culture. Luckily/unluckly I fell asleep from working all weekend and would have missed the stream anyway. XD Anyway, question (sorry it's kinda wordy): As I trans woman, I really want to make works (and see other trans people making works) which feature trans characters and protagonists; at the same time, I find the lack of trans characters in works by cis creators frustrating (since it tends to make inclusion in works, written by trans creators or not, look like a gimmicks). But at the same time, the latter tend to be...questionable. How do you think representation for a given minority group can be normalised while still letting members of the group tell their own stories?
Also, what are your views on Anarchism(s)? Do you have a writer or book on politics that you like? Do you subscribe to any politcal views, even if partially? @@fandommusings5302 HOLY CRAP WE'RE THE SAME! I can get you some books about those as soon as I finish my assignments today if you want. We anarchists like sharing knowledge freely, so getting books in PDF tends to be pretty easy. Interested? In fact, I believe there is a book called Black Anarchism in that drive I sent ya that might be a great start. It's pretty fluid and shows many voices in several movements in history, specially black women.
This isn't necessarily aimed at you and more just something I've been thinking about. Hypothetically, if someone likes big butts and they cannot lie but is also a republican, how are they going to reconcile their natural inclination to lie with the ultimatum of not being able to lie about something?
