My fav quote is “the vibration of being who you are and doing what you love is magnetic. You will align everything you need in your life with that energy.” (Maryam Hasnaa). This came to my mind when you spoke about being single and your number 1 goal in life is being happy. Just a couple years older than you and I can honestly say as I’m sure you’ve experienced as well, EVERYTHING falls into place! Thanks for sharing your experiences, thoughts, and hair tips!
With you being so beautiful, it’s the stigma that will never go away and people wonder why you are single just on that fact alone. I wish I had you around when I was younger, I was worrying about little boys instead I wish I actually took the time to love myself and literally enjoy your own company, you are an inspiration ❤️✌🏾
The Hair !!! ❤ the hair is hairing lbvs ! 😍 I LOVE SNOW FALL. They are supposed to have a spin off coming soon. My feel good shows are Girlfriends, Cosby show, sister sister. I’ll turn them on to fall asleep too sometimes.
Thank you love!! Girl the way Snowfall had me in a chokehold for a whole month! Are they reallly having a spinoff!?! I definitely gotta watch it! I do the same - can't fall asleep without a good sitcom!
I just love everything about your posts and videos! Hair always amazing and fire energy! Can you show us your set up when you record videos !? Please 😍 a little behind the scenes
That was a really cool and engaging video,Sis! Love your bubbly, quirky personality ! U were definitely well raised and will be a beautiful asset to the right man. Emphasis on RIGHT! 😊
I came for the Q&A, but baaaabbbbyyyy.... the hair! Sheesh!!! Your whole look (the natural face, shirt color, hair) is absolutely beautiful! It's refreshing to see. OMG, "Ok and, let dat thang tick... hickory, hickory, dock" needs to be on a t-shirt! That was the laugh I needed to end my night.🤣🤣 Lord you left mama hanging...I can't 🤣🤣
Thanks for the video. I feel like I pretty much know how you would respond to things because I am the same way. Relationships are hard even when its the right man. Regardless you are two human beings coming together under 1 roof everyday. It is so important to like the person for who they are really well before marrying them. I like and love my husband but 1 thing that have made this marriage very hard from day 1 was his family. Sometimes families do not know how to let go of certain standards and expectations they have toward another and when you marry into that it causes changes that no one was expecting, changes that ruffle people's feathers because it is different from their norm. That is when the challenges and hardships come in. His family til this day is still having a hard time with me in the picture lol, and it's 13 years married! Other than that I am happily married but it could be better if I never had to deal with the things I described. Enjoy who you are, and where you are. That is one thing in my life I NEVER got to do. Had I had the mindset I have now then I would have embraced being single much better than I did then. I dont deal with drama either girl! I am allergic to drama! Blessings~
I'm 46 & things definitely changed once I hit 30. Now I got all kinds of issues, like. This is not the same body that used to dance & step. I was a majorette in band. I would leave that practice. And go straight to step practice. Now I have no rhythm lol, and my thumb do the samething. Also I feel exactly how you feel about beeing in a relationship. I'm single too & love my peace. Love the hair btw
Lana, I’ve enjoyed your Q and A! We have so many things in common! I am in my 30s, I’m 32. Rush Hour 1 and 2 are my favorite movies as well! Chris Tucker is definitely bae for life! We love the same music. We love the same tv shows. I also get pedicures once a month. 😂. And, I also live in South Florida (Born and Raised)! I also have the same views as you when it comes to dating and being in a relationship. I’m not in no rush at all. If God has a man of God for me, it will be for me. If not, no worries. I will not lower my standards or settle for less just to say I have a man. More videos like this because it was everything! ❤
Girl sometimes I fel like we are twins!, I have scoliosis as well. Just a slight curve. Girl wait til you're my age...46 and I dont even look 46 but my body be waking with some pains (one after another) and then recuperation time is much longer than when I was in my 20s and early 30s. Now I am dealing with a pain on my side towards my back (out of no where for a couple weeks now). Blessings~
Hey! A while back you posted a video about going to an electrolysis to remove unwanted hair, did it work for you? I’ve been struggling with chin hair as well
Hey! Yes I did electrolysis for about a year and it did work. I do still get a few hairs from time to time but there are a lot less and they’re much thinner than before. I just didn’t feel like going back because it’s painful and I was content with the results.
Omg the eye muscles twitches are the worst! I heard that means someone is talking about you 👀😭 either that or you might be dehydrated lol idk girl google be all over the place !
Dope video. Have you ever considered living in LA? You seem like you'd be (more) successful in California. The culture here is so different; 30 is like 20 out here, and 40 is like 30.
I'm not even trying to be creepy fr but I swear we're so alike. Family is Jamaican, went to UCF, live in South Florida, I have scoliosis (how bad is yours? It's my biggest insecurity), I'm petite (5ft and finally reached 100lbs), I also feel the same way about being single. I'm ready and set to be the rich auntie/godmom
Wow! We do have a lot in common! I don’t remember my scoliosis curve. I just know that my spine is shape like an “S” 🤷🏾♀️ Girl you’re taller than me! Lol im 4’11” Don’t be insecure about it. I’ve grown to love my height. That’s what makes us special😉 Rich Aunties for the win! Love that title for us😭👏🏾
@@lanasymone same s shape! it causes my right side to protrude more but if you look at me dead on I don't look "crooked". What have you done to help with yours? Did you consider surgery? I feel like not enough people talk about it so big up
Yess same! One of my hips is actually higher than the other. My parents considered the surgery when I was 12 but because I was playing sports , they decided against it. I actually would’ve been a few inches taller had I gotten the surgery. I wore a back brace for about 2 years and that was it. Now it doesn’t really bother me unless I’m standing for too long. But I agree - It’s definitely not talked about enough!
