This is most likely the hibiscus sawfly. UT Extension Agent Chris Cooper says the larvae of the hibiscus sawfly are green and camouflage very well with the leaves. They will eat the leaf leaving the veins. In the larval stage they are easy to control, and Chris lists some options, but timing is critical.

What about Japanese beetles on my hibiscus? I have had a crazy amount of them this year on my grapes and hibiscus. I have heard about milky spore. What is your experience with this?

I have serious problems my hibiscus was amazing something is eating all the leaves it looks so ugly now I have tried mixing dishwashing soap with , oil and lemon and water it didn't work I tried with vinegar , soap and oil water, it didn't work, I tired bicarbonate soda and water with soap it didn't work
