Im a senior in college too and idk if it’s just me but let me tell you this, prepare to be alone A LOT! College (although you meet a lot of cool people you’ll get close with & spend fun times with) is a very lonely part of life. It’s really just gonna be YOU (most of the time). You’ll be cooking by yourself, doing homework by yourself, go to class, get coffee, etc.. But despite it being a very lonesome period in your life, it’s also a great opportunity to get to know yourself & be more comfortable with yourself. If you think positively about it, college is a great period for personal growth & gaining independence. It’s a great learning experience beyond academics

I think how close you get with people really depends on the person you are. I haven't really made any new friends at uni because I'm shy and introverted which makes me look arrogant. Not the best if you're trying to get to know people. And I always feel like I'm intruding or something. I do know people who have made really close friends at uni though. The experience is very different for everybody and also different depending on what you study at which university.

I’m a up coming Graphic Designer and I love what I do, it hit home when you said you get projects that you have no idea about due to the identity of the business or organization. It causes me to over think if i can even execute the project but I really go into deep research and when I do find any sufficient information that represents the organization that I can work with I get supper excited. It feels really good when you can finally come up with a creative concept to complete the task/project.

I'm just struggling this year because every night i either have class or work till 8, usually from 8-8 or 9-8 so i like actually have no time during the day to do anything, sometimes I work till midnight, except for saturdays but if i take less classes i won't graduate on time and i can't afford an extra semester lol its just rough rn

I’m 16 from the uk and am studying photography at college (post-16 education in the uk is different to most places). We do the critiquing thing after we shoot and vote on our favourite. This is my third week at college and nobody has voted for any of my photos yet (we’ve done this five times). I keep thinking I’m doing something wrong, but all my teachers love all my work. I want to be a photojournalist so a lot of my photos have stories behind them and have to be explained (like my recent post on @errfilms ig) but I just don’t know if I’m doing things right x

Wow here in Belgium the money to go to college is 900 a year (which already is quite a lot for most people) and this semester my textbooks cost me a 100 euros in total... The US is really unfair in how much money they ask for education.
