Q2 I for me forever…always a great seat on the arrow with now issues…nothing fancy to clean or wipe…no cleaners…just glue it and it sticks…great company service and responses…they will be my choice going forward 😊

you'll be happy with these vans.I've been use them for 3+ years and like them. I use a Bizenbuger jig They say you don't need to prim or prep be for glueing. i use to prep but haven't for about a year and haven't had any problems.

Both solid choices. I like those Q2i's and run them on some of my 23 dia. arrows. My buddy got some of the 3" bohning X3 vanes and they are impressive too. Similar to tac in stiffness, just a tad heavier though. I have been trying tons of vanes for years now. I shoot lots of competitive archery from indoor to 3d to field so I have tried darn near everything on the market to see what works for me... General trends I see are stiff and low bucks the wind and is quiet, high and soft gives the most control but is loud... Shield cut is usually louder than parabolic, but shield cut will give more drag than parabolics usually, meaning added control. I have been very happy with the TAC driver 2.75 in a left helical 3 fletch. Stiff and suuper light, and pretty quiet. Very good all rounder that I shoot 3d with from my target bows and hunt with as well. AAE max are also phenomenal. Heavyish, but super solid option. I dont mind vane prep. I do it on most vanes anyways. Acetone and a good scrubbing on the base with a Q tip always works fine if your glue is decent. I use the pens too, but I have not noticed them to do any better than acetone. My TAC vanes have some of the strongest bonds of all my vanes. They are freaking welded. Also impressed with durability. I thought because they are stiff that they would get destroyed in 3d but they dont. They are holding very very well. Seating them well is critical. I am trying out the new AAE airazr 26 right now and so far they are decent. Like a super stiff AAE max stealth with no ribbing. 8 gns each, so not nearly as light as the TACs, but they are very stiff. Very quiet. They may be my fixed head fletching for the year. Right now its between them, the tac 2.75 and the bohning black sky blazers (basically an easton bully which is a stiffened up blazer) ... and always 3 fletch. All this 4 fletch business these days is strange. Its just more weight to get more noise and wind drift. A good 3 fletch will do everything a 4 can with less wind drift, noise, and weight. Good luck this year and enjoy your summer!
