Why am I watching this 'safety' video again and again?! It's creative, amazing, even mesmerising! Spirit of Australia! Qantas, my favourite airline, well done. BTW, I am not an Aussie.
I am an Australian citizen myself, so I will look for Australian citizens to aspire to be our head of state, so please support the republic referendum.
This is the most informative safety video ever. It talks about the brace position which as far as I know no Other airline talks about it plus some more stuff that other don't point out.

You obviously haven't seen Air New Zealand's this would put me to sleep, total snorfest. Besides No more Aussies live there anymore they all moved to NZ. Just full of Asians even all the Maori's have come home :)

THE most amazing safety video I've ever seen! Some hearts are really poured into it. How many times in life can we stumble across a safety video that we actually want to watch to the end, and search on youtube after getting off the flight? I have watched it five times, still wanting more!

Love Qantas! Took it on my flight from Hong Kong to Sydney and also domestic Sydney to Melbourne. Great airline, fa's have excellent service and attitudes. If I fly to Australia next time definitely Qantas!
I am an Australian and Qantas is considered the safest airline in the world. Ask the friendly crew at Qantas in case you need anything. Don't hesitate. Try asking them to teach you some Australian slang

Qantas isn't just the safest airline in the world, it is the oldest too! Qantas started on November the 16th, 1920. That makes Qantas 95 turning 96 this year. I'm Excited for 2020 because Qantas will be 100 years old!

I get just a bit emotional watching this again. I was a cleaner with Fleet Pres. in Melb.- Oct.2015 to Aug. 2016. The video was played during our cleans - the engineers used to check the inflight entertainment system. Sure it got to be a bit monotonous- though the 'Today you're flying on a Boeing 737 ... ' or 'Airbus A330' or 'Boeing 717' ... was a welcome update on what 'plane I was on now. Personally, the videos urged me to try harder and better. Can't say that for every worker though. At the time, Qantas was the only airline using in-house cleaning staff. That's all a memory now and the prospect of even a fraction of the 2,500 +/- skilled and committed QGS staff Australia-wide- disbanded, likely to return to their former jobs is nil. Thank you to all of you who flew with Qantas at that time I was 'on board.' Many of you uttered a word, or nod, of thanks and looked our way in acknowledgment as you stepped off the 'plane onto the aerobridge as I and my cohort waited to board to do our thing. Thank you. May you continue to experience safe journeys, and a clean aircraft, to come.
I was an FO with Q-Link for years and always appreciated the unsung heroes who made it happen. Goodness knows the Leprechaun didn't. Glad to be out of there. Hope things worked out for you mate.

This has to be one of the most creative safety videos I've ever seen! I just love how they incoporate the sights and sounds of Australia to make it fun yet informative. Flying to Brisbane from Singapore with Qantas next year. Can't wait!

Saw this recently on my Intl QANTAS flight and first time felt relaxed about take off. It's easier to tune into the info when it's made interesting. Especially if you have seen many safety demo's over the years. Well done on marketing the brand well- I think you really captured the spirit of Australia.
thats what i was wondering - lol - probably tucked a spare belt from the plane down in the space between the seat and the seatback - sort of like something i might have done as a kid to pass a vehicle safety inspection - grin

Brilliant! Suprisingly, I had no idea ya'll had Salt Flats, (Leroy, WA) I believe, like the massive Salt Flats we have here in Utah, USA. Many a Land Speed records have been achieved on our Salt Flats. Time for me to go online and explore your Salt Flats.
