That moment from Sandi was the first thing I thought of when I heard she would replace Stephen, but she’s even better than I anticipated! Agreed she was perfect to take over
@@jmz1736 two years late, but if you (and anyone else) are still wondering, her saying she's 'on the turn' is in reference to the fact that Sandi's lesbian, but that she was so taken by Trevor's singing she might have been starting to question whether she could be attracted to men or not. It's just a nice joke that Trevor was so hot in that moment he could have turned her straight.
There needs to be a second version of this video, incorporating the time when Susan Calman and Holly Walsh led the audience in "Any Dream Will Do" - Sandi, Alan and Phill Jupitus walked off, and when they came back, Sandi was pissed off!

14 years after that episode came out, and the Acropolis still busts my gut every time. I think I just woke my neighbor up. (For those wondering, Series E: Engineering [S05E01])
What about Susan Calman and Holly, and most of the audience, singing Any Dream Will Do, causing Sandi, Alan and Joe Lycett to walk off the set? One of my favourites. 😊 (QI XL S17E07 Series Q Quests Part II)
And I still watch to the very end when Sandi says, " Well come on, please, pick something ". Oh and I can fully understand why her little heart flutters over Trevor.
I think Johnny Vegas mentions Lorillard, a particularly obscure cigarette manufacturer, indicating Johnny Vegas, as always, has deep-seated and thoroughgoingly researched knowledge of a topic he presents himself as ignorant of.
I love that the Peter Cushing song is deemed to be ‘bursting into song’ for the purposes of this video 😂 I think that’s the least ‘bursty’ Alan has ever been…
After the "Peter Cushing Lives In Whitstable" episode came out, the original band re-recorded the song (I believe that's the story I heard) and they made a rather fun music video as a QI dvd extra. Now available through the miracle of RU-vid! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-oDNuW8g2LNM.html
People want a little knees up in their information based panel shows. Little bits of different silliness and fun was the concept behind 8 out of 20 cats does countdown, wasn’t it?
Somebody should write a song called "They Say of the Acropolis (Where the Parthenon Is)", ending with: ♫ It has bends and bulges, it's shapely and just fine And all without the need of a single straight line. ♫
