Between the running gag of Gyles's relatives, the running gag of Susan's corduroy, the running gag of Alan's "how's that [x] all by itself?", and Jessica's disbelief at everything happening around her, this is the single best episode of QI.

I love the people that are on these shows(QI, 8oo10Cats, Would I Lie to You, etc.) It's like a little family. I'm from America so I found these shows fairly recently.

Does Gyles have a show or been a guest on a show where he talks about he leniage or other anecdotes? I know they joke but I'd genuinely watch a show about that, he is a delight to listen to.

I've seen him on Have I Got News For You but it seems this show is the perfect place for not only the varied background his ancestry has but the lenient and gracious host and guests who not only give him the time to tell a cohesive fact and story, but also actually appreciate the information he brings to the table.

She says she bet 10 pounds and it was a 35:1 payout twice, so 12,250 pounds.

@@jinpae6972 It would have been a win of £12,950. The first spin was a win of 35:1 on £10. So she won £350 on her first spin. Then she said she didn't know to take it back, so the whole £360 (original bet + winnings) would still have been sitting there to be bet again. On the second spin, she won 35:1 on £360. So she won £12,600 on the second spin, and £12,950 in total.
