Thank you most sincerely for this beautiful session which I am trying for the first time following a nasty throat infection- it has really opened up my lungs which are congested and has made breathing clearer. I often follow your videos and am so pleased you offer them free on RU-vid. It means I will continue with Qi qong as long as they are available. There are no classes anywhere near where I live and the courses are not affordable for me so Thanks again .
Thank you so much for this gentle, yet powerful practise! I am down with Covid and have been practising Qi Gong and energymedicin for several years now. Being sick it's hard to "remember" what to do or being able to follow a specific routine but this one is so gentle and combines the perfect set of movements and acupressurepoints for me. I'm not always able to do it in one go and sometimes do it seated as well. It really helpes me and my conjestion in the head and opens up my lungs. Feels so good to be able to do something for healing the body. I also drink a lot of ginger teas with thyme, or lemon, eat veggiesoups with garlig and thyme. I also have a TCM doctor that provides me supporting medicin. So feel well supported and taken care of
Thank you Kseny, after three days of suffering from rota virus i decided to do some exercise. i used to practise qigong with great pleasure but now I really needed some even gentler practice. I found it here. I am feeling lighter and better now although I still need to rest.
I’ve been using it for years with whole body patting and the acupressure for many years now and I hardly get sick. The weather just changed 2 days ago and wham it got me. This is because the longer you do chi gong the more sensitive we become to changes in nature and the foods we eat. I can’t drink alcohol much either. I’ve been trying to share with everyone I know to spread the love. Cheers!
@jimipageiommi748 I know what you mean... I can't eat any bad food combination anymore without getting serious brain fog and indigestion. At least my body knows what's right and wrong now. It's well-calibrated. :)
Having discovered Qigong last year, I looked to see what I could do specifically to ward off the cold I am starting. Just loved your video, calming voice and great set of gentle exercises as well as advice. How wonderful that we can share such positivity between countries. I wish you well Kseny and thank you for sharing your gentle energy.
Hi Clare, thank you for taking the time to share. I'm happy to hear that you like the practice and find the exercises helpful. Sending you good energy and keep well!
I felt achy and congested when I woke up this morning, under the weather, and this video set me back to feeling normal. Thank you for sharing your practice, you have a wise way of working through stretches. Feel better soon.
Thank you for this video, Kseny. I seemed to be stuck in getting through this cold, but worked with a video of yours yesterday and this one today. I am on the other side of the cold and give credit to Qi Gong….I feel better all over, without the usual remnants.
Thank you Kseny ! Perfect woke up feeling like maybe a cold starting! Of course during this pandemic your mind goes to the worst ! So will drink ginger tea! Feel rejuvenated! 🙏🙏🙏💖💖💖🤗🤗🤗
Thank you Kseny. One thing that works for me when I am congested is to fill up a cup with a teaspoon of honey, half a squeezed lemon and a half a cup of water, put it in the microwave for 45-60 sec, and drink it warm. Do this twice a day - I do it mid-morning and mid-afternoon usually. It will help, trust me :)
Thank you...did qui gong for sciatica which was amazing...will do this now as have been feeling ill for a while and started a cough last night...will keep going....thank you. SA
I've got Covid and this has brought some relief from the constant "AAAAARRGGHHHH!!!!" feeling that's been lingering for the past few days. Much obliged!
Thank you. You are the third qi gong teacher I have consulted online, plus one in person, and from each I have learnt something new. Although you all have the same underlying principles. You asked for any things that are helping in other parts of the world. I guess you are in Russia or somewhere else in Eastern Europe but I do not really know! In any case, I am not sure if this is easily available in Europe, but in Australia, we grow and can fairly easily obtain freshly dried red hibiscus petals to drink as tea. It is brilliant for flu prevention and recovery. Very high in vitamin C and also much more hydrating than plain water. I also do the root soups and ginger and Manuka honey tea, as you mentioned. I do also like turmeric. The hibiscus tea though is definitely worth seeking out and trying. It is really delicious and naturally sweet, needs nothing added :D
Twist and turn! I like that. I’ve always called it turning waist swinging arms. Which I don’t like. Too poetic, long, and there’s other ones that have the same name. It’s one of my favorites!
I really enjoyed this one! Thank you. I currently have a cold. I have tried soaking radishes in organic raw honey and then I eat the radishes and drink the honey radish liquid. It’s good for cough and probably other things. It’s also tasty 😊
Hi Kseny I started getting a cold and did this excises thank u so much ...what I do too I take vicks place some in a bowl with hot water then put a towel over my head and breath the steam of the vicks in..Veronica Canada
I wanted to thank you, I started going through some of your videos some days ago and I have been practising Qi Gong on a daily basis. You have a really kind energy about you, thank you for helping so many people including me! Something else I do when I don't feel well: meditate focusing on healing cells + lie down on my acupressure mat.
I had an intense conversation with an ex and the next morning I felt sore, had a headache, and a fever.. I took most of the day off and the next day stayed in bed, I am recovering from a draining conversation and this was a beautiful restorative meditation 🧘♂️ thank you
This is fantastic, thank you so much! Been ill for a few days in bed and needed something gentle to boost my energy, first time to Qigong but won't be my last, I loved it, thank you x
Hello Kseny this was soo good. Just perfect for Winter and giving the body the boost it needs. I especially like your 3 point massage areas, these acupressure points can be very powerful for boosting the immune system. I like to drink lots of warm water even when I feel well but especially when under the weather and hand reflexology is very good as well as massaging acupressure points like you demonstrate here. Plenty of good soups and vital rest makes me quickly pick up, it sounds like you are taking good care, I wish you well and thank you for sharing this video even when you are feeling not so well, cheers and many blessings your way! Have a great week!
Hi Katrina, thank you so much for sharing. I'm glad you enjoyed this routine and found it useful. I agree, preventative care is the best care. Have a good week!
After my first holiday since 2years due to Covid...I got Covid now!!! 😭🤧😷🤒feel miserable! But your exercises were wonderful, helpful and the way of bringing it is calm gentle and peaceful. Still sweating for liters but better breathing already. Thanks and greetz from Brussels 🖤💛❤
Hi Tachke, so sorry to hear that you got covid but I'm glad you find the exercises helpful and feel a little better. Rest well and wish you a quick recovery! 🙏
I have a cold doing this routine I feel a little better. I will be using the pressure points a lot hopefully it will help relieve my migraines. Thank you
Very supportive routine. With the back tapping it set off my cough a bit..so I stopped it..otherwise really gentle and supportive routine. Many thanks.
Hi Anna, glad you found it useful. Have you tried a recent Qigong for cold routine here ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Up3RDM6H_UY.html I hope you feel better soon!
Thank you Kseny, that was wonderful. I teach Qigong myself and being led through a practice by another teacher was extra special. In the UK, echinacea is very popular during this time of the year. I have a question regarding acupressure points - shall I rub/tap in one direction only or switch? Warm wishes your way, Kasia
Hi Kasia, lovely! Happy you enjoyed yourself and found the flow helpful. It depends what technique you use. Press and release or circular motion. Circular motion usually done both directions unless you are treating a specific condition and know exactly what you are doing.
Am a lil down with cold n feverish.. did this practice..i felt as if the extra heat was leaving my body when i breathed out Thanks a lot Qseny..u r awesome Will do this everyday Pray qigong community for my health n well-being
Thanks Kseny for another great video! I am recovering from a cold and I had it during my trip to beautiful Hawaii. While there I did some of your videos and they helped so much! I also drink warm water and soups and rest. I find that chicken soup helps as well as warm tea with honey and lemon. I like to nurture myself with journaling and relaxing and staying warm. I did eat a lot of tropical fruit while I was there which has a lot of vitamin C. Wishing good health to you and all your friends! :)
I had already recovered from a cold but it was a good exercise. I loved the explanation of the acupressure points. Sure hope you recover soon. Thank you Kseny.
I have been fighting a very nasty cold virus that it's going around here in the US. All my family members got it and I was the last one to get and somehow it stay with me for 3 weeks. I even have treatment with my Easster doctor and taking herbs. With your qigong exercises helping me a lot. I believe I am now the road to recovery. I will keep it until this virus leaves my body. Thank you Kseny 🥰🙏🏼
Hi Don, thank you for watching and taking the time to share. I'm glad you enjoyed this one and found it useful. Yeah, I find that breathing exercises along can facilitate the recovery. Take care
Qigong with Kseny Thanks. Have saved this video to my qigong favourites and will do regularly. Chest and throat have been bad from many weeks of continual serious smoke pollution in Sydney due to all the terrible fires on the East Coast of Aust. 😷
Kseny. I hope you translate your classes into Spanish soon. 🙏🏻 I forwarded to my friends and family in Argentina 🇦🇷 I even translated one for them. Greetings from Miami 🇺🇸
Hi Grace, thank you for taking the time to comment. It's nice to have you here. Have a good practice and let me know if you have any questions. Best wishes,
I really enjoyed this video Kseny, thank you so much for sharing ❤ many of the qi gong routines out there are to prevent from getting sick, which is the ideal scenario of course, but not always feasible in our busy lives. I very much appreciated your guided approach on how you can move your body in order to actually recover, in a warm gentle and very compassionate way.
