This is the way of fighting I'd like to learn most, so I can incorporate it's teachings into my own fighting style. I've lost a lot of the fight spirit, but one day maybe I'll find a teacher or school to learn how to do Baji properly.

Bajiquan is mainly focused on extremely powerful strikes within fluid movement at close range. It was used by Presidential Gaurd for this reason. I'm very proud to be a practicioner, and even more so to see others becoming interested in it. A friend of mine said something great, it's like Wushu, but not fancy. It's like judo but meant to hurt people.

This was awesome to watch... but a shame if you don't speak the language :P Subtitles in English (as with the amazing Spear documentary) would be greatly appreciated. Peace and rewarded devotion to you all.

Yes they are affiliated with the Wu. Here is the Beijing baji blog : blog.sina.com.cn/bjbjqjlb . So far, they have not been outside of China, but we still hope to have them around here ...

Hi, I'm a Bajiquan practitioner, maybe I van give you the answer. Usually the elbow strike is performed in a loose grip called 把子拳, for a more easy access to claw, palm strike or fist.
