I did same preliminary Clodsire analysis. Definitely looks like the rank 1 Clodsire really shines in bulk to help maintain the lickitung 1-1 matchup. Saw some potential charge move breakpoints for sableye and medicham too. Hopefully this is in line with what you find too. Can’t wait for your video!
Yeah, high bulk is pretty tight for the upper echelon of bulk. After that, Atk has a choose your own adventure element to it, with a focus on two specific Atk checks (one of which covering Medi/Sab). You've basically got the right idea.
I've literally built a shadow one today to use it in the great league. I did a little bit of check and it wasn't the best but it was the only one I got. Now I'm going to see whether swag approves
Got a 1/14/12 shadow wooper in the last second of the team rocket takeover, and the event ends right after I use my last charge tm to remove its frustration. After watching this video, it was a big win I guess
swagswagswag. Yeah, I didn't expect to get lucky over the Toronto weekend, but I blessed Shadow Quag came my way in time too, with only 2 CTMs left at that!
When I say "weights" I just mean where more of the stats are going. "Bulk weighted" would be Def/HP. "Defense weighted" would be higher than usual (often higher than the Rank 1) for Def. Just a way of phrasing it.
have been saving a Rank 3 shadow wooper since 11 of december of 2020. I have a few mons I catch that don't seem much at first but I usually save since they might get new moves for GBL on new seasons or even like this get a community day. Really glad to save some mons for potential in the future never know what might happen
Why is it that the shadow and non-shadow variants both have the same targets but you're showing less options for the shadow one? Am I missing some setting on pvpivs that toggles for Shadows or something? When I put those stat targets in I get 33 options instead of the 21 you're showing.
112.22 Def w/ 166 HP is really good, and could be better than some of the "high bulk" ones. It's like a diet Rank 2. I'd be very pleased with it. It's hard to capture all the nuance though in a single table. The 112.48 Def that the table cuts at is mostly for 164 HP, aside from trying to create more Def to handle more Sableye.
C’mon, do you really think, that 1 flipped IV point makes any significant difference? Like seriously is it even possible to recognize a difference while playing? 🤷🏻♂️🤙
Complete noob question but if I understand this correctly, are less attack ivs better? Why is that? If anyone's patient enough to to explain it, it would be greatly appreciated.
I only have one S. Swagsire without frustration, which is a rank 12 (0/14/8), so I think I won't elite tm it, and I'll just keep it with MB/SE. For Swagsire's cousin from paldea, I think I'll try to hunt for like a 7/12/0 with Mud Shot mainly to slay opposing Clodsires with Mud Shot and get the breakpoint against DD and a high rank one for my poison sting Clodsire
