i'd rather have the expert do the confusing excel and pvpoke stuff and just listen re. the best IVs and breakpoints. sad i only got the Rank 4, i always felt she was missing 1 hp in matches to reach that last move and it was finally verified / validated after this swagman analysis. I only power up pokemon for PVP once it is swag approved so i really appreciate your channel. :) more power swagtipssss and happy new year to your fam!
Thank you! I don't feel excel tracking is all that wacky, it just helps bring a little more order to the chaos, but there's nothing wrong with leaving this stuff to the experts.
This just makes me trust your content a heck of a lot more. I didn’t even know half of those pvpoke features nor did I know it would randomly choose different moves for no apparent reason that flip a matchup. Thanks for creating the world’s best pvpoke tutorial. Hopefully more people use it correctly as a result! (Again still blown away that it can change the moves it uses)
Thanks for sharing your process so all of us can better appreciate the amount of work and research you put in to make your pvp iv deep dives as informative and thorough as always
We all have things we gotta do. I'm sure folks understand and, if you're still motivated to do IV deep dives, then I for one value quality over quantity. Besides, there's more to your vids than just some numbers. Happy new year.
I'm trying to do a deep dive on little league bronzor (considering the fact that it's rather expensive to build i felt like I should do some research before I leveled up one) and it seems like tons of pokemon have some fast move breakpoint/bulkpoint. Do you know if that's an artifact of it being a 500 cp limit, or if it's just that I happened to pick a hard one to do a deep dive on for my first one? (or am I just doing something wrong entirely lol)
Personally, I always tweaked around with the pvpoke matchups of certain IV spreads I had, usually if they were pvp-wise. I never thought that some matchups depended on move changes that pvpoke itself rearranged in its sims. I always compared certain matchups in the different shield scenarios and with different IV spreads of the opposing species and again, never really considered checking why some matchups changed drastically at times. Very insightful video and hope to see more of them as the new year progresses. Just know you have a very loyal fan of yours watching from Mexico and I’ve built many mons based on your thorough, well-rounded analyses. Hope the best for your channel this year and have a great life with your family and friends. Long live Ryan, the swag man! ❤
I usually 1st do max defense and max attack to see if the mon needs some bulkpoints or breakpoints. Then hp is kinda tougher, but if I still can have some hp, then I'll try to get one that has the max hp possible with those stats. I also have 100 GL mons as the PvPoke meta cause I also have less common mons like Emolga or mons with different movesets
Yeah, whatever variation works best for you. This video was probably 1/4th of the PvP IV Deep Dive process, but the other 3/4ths is just like, the same thing but getting all hype specific about stuff.
Thanks for the insight. I have some off meta pokemon I want to get deeper into, but I know you're busy saving lives as a medical professional. Thanks for the hard work.
It's gotten better. In the good ol' days, when charge move timing wasn't optimized on PvPoke, you'd have extra fast moves showing up to tip the scales too
