I see you're still looking at comments -- would love to see more videos at these quails if you decide to get uploading! :) I'm really interested in learning about 1) how friendly quails can be with caretakers if socialized and 2) how much space/entertainment they need (e.g., do they need to forage at all? do they need "toys"?) Thank you!!
@@quailmom1810 Honestly, I have tons of ideas for videos for you right up your alley. if you are interested. (Such as what causes egg production to stop, molting in birds, the possibility of free-ranging, or moving hutches over garden areas in winter to fertilize. ) Replacing your flock once they age out. I enjoyed all of your videos so far, and I just want to have fun sources such as yourself continue to spread the message. ( I personally enjoyed learning about these topics, so I think your audience would too)
I’m sorry but, your giving the complete wrong info. Not EVERYONE can do it! It’s not easy. I’m thinking you would not know what’s coccidiosis or egg bound, It’s your quail still alive? Quail live for more than 1 years kk? Kk go ahead and please reply if they are still alive
Coco The Quail You are right. Not EVERYONE can do it. It’s not easy but can become easy with experience like most things. We have been lucky with our birds. After 2.5 years my original flock is still alive. I’m letting them live out their old days. They lay an egg every now and then. The birds that my young friend is keeping are alive. Thanks for your comment and good luck😀
ok..great! I’m sorry if this comment came as a hate! I just noticed more and more people are started to raise quail and doing it completely wrong. It saddens me to see some of the videos of the quail as my best friend ( a quail) died from a diesese transmitted from another quail, A breeder who could not look after his quails. Her name was coco, and ye she was literally my best friend
