This was my life back then, almost dropped out of school because of this. I made all the hellfire maps and some others with the names of known jumpers:). My old PC had to load whole nights for light textures and everytime it was so awesome seeing the maps the next day and even greater seing people jumping around in them. I turned 37 this year, seems like yesterday, miss those days.
Did you guys have double jump bind back in the day? I forgot how to write it, i want to play some jumping maps, but the timing of the double jump is tricky
@@LindenAshbyMK Yes! You had to press jump again when on the edge of box or at end of ladder:). I logged in many years later and was not able to even do a basic double jump:). Its like forgetting olies as a skater:). Thx guys for the feedbacks, glad this still exists, lost all files when I threw away my old pc.
Wow guys, what a nostalgic video. I still remember specting this guys in live! back in the time in the early 2000's. I'm surprised ThePolishGuy didnt show up in this though!!! Goodtimes! Lets keep quake 2 alive! :D
is there still some jump servers aviable? ~15 years later i still remember server adress 195.250.168.74 where i wasted 1000s of hours my free time :) even skipped school sometimes to enter in to that server :D all my grades also went down because this :´) NO REGRETS ! ! !

Однако, в 2022 я стал рубиться в этот мод ежедневно, прояснил для себя некоторые детали, кое-что мне подсказали и сейчас я стал проходить карты, которые просто не мог пройти этой зимой. Например, то, что показано на 1:40 ddjump1, я смог повторить. Вот этот лютый прыжок на 1:47 - я его сделал много раз. До сих пор есть много вещей, которые я повторить не могу, но, похоже, что это делается без читов.
The irony of this skill-less mod is quite funny, they're all racing to get the end railgun that they'll never fire because this mod doesn't require aiming or skill. Get to that railgun you'll never use....yeah
