This is a quick walk around of the Qualicum Heritage (College) Inn, filmed on February 4 2011. The building was former private school for boys and was originally founded in September 1935 by Robert Ivan Knight. The name was changed from the Qualicum Beach School to the Qualicum College in 1949. The school eventually closed in 1979 and was converted to the Qualicum College Inn. When the Qualicum College Inn closed in 2007, demolition to the additions added to the building in 1970 began in January 2008. As of May 2008, the building's future was apparently uncertain. Whether it is restored or demolished is anyone's guess at this point in time.
