Soccer is the greatest sport on Earth and is massive in over 240 countries. Every country on Earth loves Soccer. Afl is only big and relevant in 4 Australian states. Its a minority sport in Qld, NSW and ACT. Soccer will be the number 1 sport in Australia by 2050 and every country on Earth by 2100 udrs
Calling it already - if Tigers play like this again (and again) they will take the flag, no doubt about it. With that crowd behind you and such fierce pressure around the ball, not even Crows could handle that

Richmond's Coming of Age happened right here. The Culture of belief is underestimated and will hold Richmond in good stead for many years. You see in the new blood and young blood that belief being passed on.
This is the most important win possibly ever. This was the stepping stone that led us to believe we were good enough. And my word we certainly are good enough 🏆🏆🏆
As a Geelong fan, this was a devastating display by the cats. Richmond fully deserved it, simply played better than us and earned that preliminary spot. #motflop
Pathetic comment. Richmond are a disgusting team with no integrity and a poor game plan. Hand in your Cats membership, you pathetic excuse for a football fan.
Rochelle D typical Geelong supporter thinking your above everyone else. You ate your words last year, hopefully you do this year also. You deserve nothing more. How does a high pressure gameplan style make us a disgusting team with no integrity? When it’s winning games? You make no sense, I think you should hand in your membership, pessimists aren’t real supporters.
Fed up with the bull dust from cats fans. Cats fans and the media did nothing but boast in the lead up with cats fans declaring it doesn't matter where the game is played, tigers haven't beaten us at the G since 1999, as soon as the game was over, then the bull crap began, "game should have been at the cow paddock", "it was a boring game", "the game wasn't high standard", bla bla bla bla bla bla bla. If any team could make excuses, it's the tigers, they have the 3rd youngest list in the AFL and actually almost have no right to be where we are in a prelim so win lose or draw for the rest of the yr, it doesn't matter, this young team will get better and better and you never know, all the way is still a possibility. That crowd noise, gotta give anyone goose bumps and that last quarter was devastating
I Was There That Night We Had No Chance Coming In Then We Just Spanked Them Just The Tackles At 0:33 0:55 1:05 1:19 2:21 2:39 3:21 And My Personal Favourite Tackle That Night 5:10 Were Just Unbelievable. Dusty’s Run Jacks Brilliant 50/50 Ball Then The Magnificent Kick To Prestia And The Goal Just The Best Play I’ve Ever Seen What A Night
@@darrenmiles-morland8038 No clause in the contract! What? You're apparently too young to know that this whole playing finals on small suburban oval set-ups like Kardinia Park and Carrara thing is a relatively recent phenomenon, only brought in to accommodate smaller drawing finals like Geelong against interstate teams or GWS against anyone. Before 2013 the Cats had never even played a final in Geelong ever. That's not a thing. Geelong like every other team plays at the MCG on a number of occasions every season including most big finals so it's not really the advantage you're pretending it is for Richmond who share the ground with 3 other teams anyway, and it's basically Geelong's second home ground for all big home & away matches. The point is no Victorian team gets to play finals with a real home ground advantage except Geelong, and big finals have never been played there and they will never be played there. On a more recent topic did you enjoy the 2020 grand final, neutral venue and all?
@@darrenmiles-morland8038 You "found out last weekend" that Richmond was a great team that can and does win anywhere? OK bit late to the party but whatever. I'm not trying to prove anything, I'm educating you on the history of football finals venues, and the amusing nonsense of your argument. Thanks for the laughs, better luck next season :D
as a geelong cats fan this was a disgraceful and disappointing performance by us. Bit buthurt lol. But thats just full credit to the tigers who showed up from the word go.
Pathetic comment. That's the reason why teams earn the double chance to begin with, so that they get the opportunity to redeem themselves the following week. The Swans were the ones who ended up not coming to the match well prepared, not the Cats. It's all about your mindset on matchday, not about which team looks more talented on paper. Home ground advantage helps a bit too.
From a Carlton fan congrats to the Tiges credit where credit is due great win.can certainly go all the way no doubt,Cats going to be tough against the Swans but anything is possible all the very best to you both:)
I reckon Geelong went into this game as the favourites. They walked into an ambush. I'll never forget the sound of the fans. Richmond were the away team, but significantly outnumbered the Geelong supporters.
I know it's a bit of a non season, but Richmond need to tackle with intent like in this game. All they're missing is the physical intensity (and quite a few players and this was a different side). Tackle hard, hit the ball hard and bring back the bump. The rest will work itself out. Easier said than done hey. Then there's the chance of injury and report. But make the opposition think twice, make em hurt and make them hear those footsteps.
Richmond was looked after by the afl so much this season, so much so that they managed to get a home final despite being the away team. Should have been played in Geelong and would have been a different result
1:05 that wouldn’t be called htb in 2024 I don’t think. Players regularly cough up the footy to a player in congestion and because they can’t possible have had prior it’s a ball up. But I prefer this officiating.
Carleton Clements your 'Top 100' playlists, they probably have some of the gayest songs around. Calling Dusty a poofta but completely forgetting about your own playlists, BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!😂😂😂😂
Brian Taylor's commentary on mason cox destroying Richmond making rance look stupid right even though mason cox is trash. How's that hard to comprehend? I'm trolling Richmond.. surely you aren't that thick...
I saw this thing on Facebook saying a dusty Martin prayer it was so funny if I see it again I will put it in these comments ALL HAIL THE DONT ARGUE MARTIN
Geelong finished higher on the ladder for that 2017 final which is why it's rather corrupt. The AFL made Geelong travel 60km+ for their home game. And the ground also happened to be Richmonds home ground. I'd consider it a farce of match. If AFL was going to disadvantage Geelong they should've played the match somewhere neutral like on the top of Ayers rock.
2017 was probably the worst ever finals series as a neutral, except for that port game, there probably hasn't been a worse finals series since 2003 or 2015
While Scott is coach Geelong will be a joke. Pathetic game plan, zero accountability, loose players everywhere, can't tackle. Reminds me of the dreaded Gary Ayres years.
