Emulating a film look on digital is tricky but I've been really impressed with @TomBolles 16mm Cineprint powergrade, you can find it here:
www.tombolles.net/cineprint16
It's only $60 and is node-based, so you actually have to get familiar with Davinci Resolve to use it (a good thing, I want to be a better colorist)! I think it does a great job with faking that film look on digital and the grain, halation, etc. look great to my untrained eye. However, one caveat to the price that I didn't consider before. I believe you will need the full version of Davinci Resolve because this power grade utilizes Davinci's built-in grain effect (and maybe other effects I'm not thinking about). There are other options out there like Dehancer Pro, Filmconvert, and Davinci's built in Halation effect. But Dehancer is $399, Filmconvert seems like more of a LUT pack, and the Halation effect only gets you part way there.
Camera used: Lumix S5 in V-Log mode. Lenses: Contax Zeiss MMJ 50mm 1.7 and 28mm 2.8
