The late Dean Stockwell's ability to make himself look evil was something else . This and so many other great tv and movie appearances stand as a fitting legacy for Mr Stockwell. Gone but far from forgotten. 😥😔😔
You later learn in the finale that God/Fate/Time is overseeing Sam and that it is likely this episode did in fact happen and it was indeed the Devil, but God/Fate/Time pulled Sam out of it to save him.
This episode reminds me so much of the wizard of Oz. She gets stuck in the storm finally gets out to see it was all a DREAM then says you were there and you were there just like here Sam " wakes " and sees young Stephen King, the actress from the quirkiness TV series northern exposure and sees real al .if you notice wizard of Oz al is wearing one solid color while the real al is in green and freaks out when he's 2 of himself .oh look at scene where al is standing by a desk top the design in the dark shadow is shaped like a penis 😁☺️
