@@Aileil another good episode where they used it alot was with this real estate developer. It was basically A Christmas Carol with Al playing the ghosts. Episode is called A little miracle. RU-vid says it's S3 E10

@@michaelschmitt3015 I'll have to check it out. I used to catch episodes on Cozi (or Hulu, a decade ago) but I've never actually gone through the whole series in a systematic fashion. It's cool to revisit. :)

They never should have said that Sam never came home. If they wanted to leave it open-ended(and I'm still waiting for the movie), it would have been much better to say "Dr. Sam Beckett is now in control of his destiny, and when he is ready, he will return home."

How they were going to do it from what I've read, and why the leaps were going to get harder, is not that much different from the normal plot of the show, Al would show up, Ziggy would have highly accurate predictive models, that of course for plot reasons were never 100% accurate, and he would fix the problem and move on to the next. If you really break it down, then having access to historical events was a way to guarantee that the outcomes were in fact good, but the overall formula of the show doesn't really require to know the past in intricate detail as we think it does.

@@AgentExeider Yeah but in the series finale Al ended up with his wife and, if I'm not mistaken, left the program. So without Al, Sam would just be winging it and not really knowing what changes are being made. I figure someone has to replace Al but since Sam changed the whole timeline of the leap program, would anyone even remember that Sam is leaping?
