Enough of this “cancel culture” for Paula Deen. We now need “forgiveness culture.” This woman has been punished enough by the media and society for far too long. We need this Queen back on TV to bring joy to our homes.
I agree that people need to able to be forgiven for things. But "Cancel Culture" is really just a buzz word which is used to try and deflect from social consequences. Humans are a social species. Social consequences for certain behaviors (typically ones that cause discomfort or suffering to others) is a trait which is shared by all social species. What you refer to as "Cancel Culture" is actually an intrinsic part of every social species, and existed long before humanity. If people really want to escape from social consequences, then they can go live in a hole somewhere. The best thing to do, if you've offended people... Either by accident, an act of genuine ignorance, or on purpose.... Is to reflect on those actions, with empathy, and attempting to see how other people experience the world. Then the problem wouldn't be such an issue. People just get mad, and understandably so, when discourse devolves into contrarianism. Of course, sometimes people do get offended over misunderstandings... We all have had these kinds of things happen... But it's how people address those misunderstandings that is typically more at issue. People have trouble with communication, and often become defensive and aggravated at the idea that someone would be upset with them... Instead of having empathy. Thank you, have a good day ^~^🎉
One more thing: don’t worry about the naysayers, lick away Paula! To me it makes these videos more personal, I can’t believe anyone would complain when the Queen 👸 of the kitchen is inviting us into her very own kitchen and sharing these wonderful recipes with us. More than that, shining her beautiful light on this world in a time when many ppl are very lonely, sad & down and really need to see pure joy and happiness. Thank you Paula 💕 I appreciate you

When I make this pie, I use a pre-made chocolate Oreo crust (also found near the pre-made graham cracker ones). It just adds to the whole chocolate/peanut butter profile and makes it even more yummy!!

Oh my goodness! I may never make this pie myself, but that's ok because I can already taste it through the screen. It looks divine! There's nothing wrong with a little indulgence every so often. Even vegetarians (like me) need to indulge sometimes. And people complaining about fat and sugar have no doubt eaten their share of fat and sugar themselves! Don't act like you haven't!
@Adrian Wilson We need sugar and carbs but not much fat. 10-25% calories from fat is ok, this recipe is about 60-70% fat and cholesterol, yikes.. This is to avoid diabetes which is caused by lipotoxemia (elevated fat/triglycerides in the blood impairing carbohydrate metabolism). Believe me, you don't want T2D.. For example butter and oils transfer easily as medium chain triglycerides into the blood. Artery disease is extremely common if you eat these foods unfortunately but it's so easy to fix. This pie would give you enough fat to last probably 2-3 days. People unfortunately have no idea and then have terminal health complications. Don't get me wrong as a treat it's fine though!!
The best response to those complainers is: Everything in moderation. (And in our house, the word "fat" is only used for meat, because we have people we love who have "rounded corners".

Ingredients list: Store bought pie crust 1 1/2 C heavy whipping cream 1/3 C powdered sugar Separate bowl: 1 C smooth peanut butter 1 - 8 oz package of cream cheese 3 TBS butter 1 C powdered sugar 1 C (approx) Chopped mini Reese’s cups Beat together heavy whipping cream and powdered sugar. Set aside. In a separate bowl, mix together the peanut butter, cream cheese, powdered sugar, and softened butter. Fold in whipping cream and chocolate candies into peanut butter mixture. Pour mixture into store bought pie crust of your preference. Chill for 2 hours and serve. You may top with whipped cream and more chocolate candies before serving 😋😋😋

I'm watching from England UK and I subscribe to a lady named Arlynn from Virginia who uses Paula Deen measuring cups when she does a little cooking/baking on her craft channel. When, a Paula Deen cooking video popped up on my suggestions I thought, I recognise that name so I clicked to watch and I have to say I've been enjoying all the videos that are up and available to watch on youtube. What a lovely fun lady Paula is. Some days I am literally watching back to back footage for a good few hours and I am loving all the new videos that she is recording too. Hi Paula! So excited to find your channel!!! Subscribed right away because, even though the doctor put my husband on the Ketogenic Diet four years ago, I have noticed that I can do some substitutions to a few of your delicious recipes to make them Keto. This peanut butter pie is the perfect Keto desert by merely substituting the sweetener with our arsenal of various Keto sugars plus making my own crust with almond flour. EZ peasey! Even the peanut butter cups can me made using Lilly’s chocolate chips. Thank you so much for this recipes because, after four years I’m sick of Keto mug cakes plus the fat macros aren’t really high enough. Your cheesey chicken rice recipe was a dream as I substituted riced cauliflower for the rice and left out the white flour and used cream cheese for thickening the sauce. Also could have used xanthum gum for thickener. The zucchini cakes for happy hour are a dream come true. Luckily I hate lime sherbert as that would have been extra labor intensive to substitute!!! Please don’t stop! Your recipes are always so delicious and we love them!!
I’d love to see you make a peanut butter-chocolate pie, the way my recently deceased mom made. She cooked the peanut butter mixture as you’d make pecan pie. The chocolate is just cooked pudding. The chocolate is placed in the (reg pie crust) bottom, and the cooled peanut butter mixture is layered on top. I just love you!

I'm sorry to say this but, Food Network made a BIG mistake when they cancelled her shows, then again she is doing much better without them. Still doing what she loves and doing a great job at it as always.

Please help...I asked a question regarding the amount of confectioners sugar. It was a different amount than the recipe linked. Also, the written recipe says a can of sweetened condensed milk but that wasn't used in the video. Paula...please answer. I'm really wanting to make this pie.

Found the recipe by another cook online with the exact same ingredients. Ingredients: Graham Cracker Crust Prepared or Chocolate Sandwich Cookie Sandwich Crust 1 1/2 cups Heavy Cream 1/3 cup Sugar 1 cup Creamy Peanut Butter 8oz block pack Cream Cheese 3 Tablespoons of Butter 1 1/2 Cup Powdered Sugar Chopped up mini PB cups Follow steps in video
peanut butter pie. ( all my friends love it when i make em one, even though its easy enuff for them to do it ) lol 1. 1-oreo pie crust ( any crust is ok ) 2. 1- sweetened cond. milk 3. 1- 8oz cr. cheese 4. 1/2 c. peanut butter 5. cool whip 6. crushed butterfinger candy bar blend 2,3, & 4 together then fold into pie crust, add cool whip on next, then add crushed candy bar on top of cool whip. chill for an hour or and enjoy.

I have made peanut butter pie but with eggs to make homemade filling. I put powdered sugar mixed with peanut butter on the bottom of crust. Pour my filling over this, top with my home made whipped creme, top with chopped peanut butter cups and sprinkle peanut / powdered sugar mixture on top, also.

Lol. I know, right! There's nothing wrong with a vegan snack, and there's nothing wrong with a slice of peanut butter pie either! Both are good in their own way. I've had some delicious vegan/vegetarian snacks and foods, but PB pie has its place on the menu too. :-)

Here's an idea for the crust, it's what I do and my family just absolutely love it💖, I use the crushed peanut butter flavored Oreos in place of Graham crackers😋
