What QFR has done today is nothing short of BRILLIANT. First I am going to start with Saranya - it is not easy to sing a Vani Jairam song - especially one as difficult as this one - the range, the effortless way in which she glides through the notes and the poignance in the voice. And Saranya managed to do all that - and made it seem so easy. And the locations where it was picturized were just perfect. As superb as Saranya was, today the QFR orchestra inched ahead of her. What an amazing recreation. It is hard to find perfect recordings of this song on youtube. But the orchestration that you have done makes all that unnecessary. I think your sound balancing between the violins and the percussion and the flute was perfect. Francis Xavier and group as always - if you are in a song, I know I am in for a treat. Selva's flute playing was incredible - an extra something that this song deserves. And Venkat on the percussion recreated everything in the original song with subtlety. Shyam, I am ALWAYS a fan. There are many songs that QFR has done well, but sometimes, it is just taken to a whole new level. And this was one such case.

This is not a song it’s a prayer, only possible by our genius illayaraja sir. Brought back my childhood memories.

What a composition by the Maestro!!! Indeed, he is a genius, and how did he figure out that only Ms. Vani Jairam will do complete justice to one of his many masterpiece compositions!! Mr Sivakumar, please take a bow for lovely editing, it's indeed a stellar work. Kudos to Ms Saranya for reproducing what Vani Amma had sung, you deserve a standing ovation. Kudos to my favourite violinist Mr Francis and his immensely talented team, it's always a delight to watch and listen to your team's harmony. Kudos to Mr Selva, Mr Venkat, Mr Hari, Mr Karthick, Ms Anjani and of course, the brilliant Mr Shyam for your fabulous pieces in this recreation. Vani Jayaram voice is suitable for conveying a character of a lady facing challenges alone with resilience. The voice conveys the grit and the pain faced simultaneously. It stands out for this reason. Illayaraja utilised her voice extensively. Megamae Megamae by Sankar Ganesh is another classic.

I am a diehard fan of Vani amma. Still I am unable overcome her demise. This is my most favourite song of Vani amma. This song will seduce you within first hearing. Lyrics is very different and music too. Humming portion also there in movie. Director used it 2 times 1. when Nandini (Deepa) meets Manikkam (Sivachandran) for first time in her house warming ceremony 2. In their second meeting Humming portion also very well done by Vani ji.
