I need to mention that KV Prasad Sir on Mridangam is outstanding from the begining. Mr Selvaganapathy on Flute and Mr Sai Rakshith on Violin are par too good. Not to mention Mr Venkat as usual on his purcussions (This time Bass Tabla and Kanjira) well performed. Last but not least Mr Ravi Shankar on Keys....Excellent ! Excellent ! Excellent ! First of all thank you madam for the special song for Raja sir birthday. As you rightly told nobody has used this Gowle raga earlier. It seems Raja sir was also waiting for an opportunity to use this Raga at the right time and he did so. How? Gowle ragam is a very divine ragam. It is used by nadaswara vidwans in the form of mallari in temples when the Deity is taken on procession in the Prakaram. Raja sir could have used normal Kalyani or mohanam or Keeravani etc. But he preferred to chose this because in the situation in film the heroin is going round in prakaram and the hero personified her as Deity. Really a genius. It was like listening to a kacheri in any sabha in Chennai . Kudos to all,
