Amazing awesome videos!!! I'm a pretty new person to found your channel. It's entertaining and indulging to all the delicious food you made!! This is quite off topic and you probably may or may not heard this comment before, you remind me soo much like John Oliver. For me, yall look and act similar xDDD it would be really interesting personally if yall met up one day!!!!
Long time viewer, first time commenter...I just wanted to say thank you. You're putting out some real calm, positive vibes with these videos on cooking during quarantine, when some many other people are going the opposite way. Love what you, Max, and the crew do. Keep it up and God bless.
By next week Sam will be dressed in Road Warrior Mad Max gear teaching us how to cook Goats Heads stew, Rattlesnake poppers and grilled Opossum innards all in front of a fiery apocalyptic background
As someone who has been in the restaurant business for over 40 years, If I may... THIS IS THE GREATEST COOKING SHOW I HAVE EVER SEEN. PERIOD. Informative, entertaining, truthful, educational. You sir have a wonderful, honest way about you, and your cooking. Max is a fantastic foil BTW, as well as a wonderful cameraman. DONT EVER GO ON ANY NETWORK TV, they will ruin you. You have made a fan and hype-man for life. And I don't care if you get roasted before you film. PS, watching you make pasta from scratch might win you a Webbie lol
"You gotta real pretty mouth" Am I the only one that appreciates the comedic genius going on here. That shit is funny. "Schedule or Shedshewule" Gold I tell you. Gold.
I was looking for something online to learn how to cook. Somehow ran into your videos. Really awesome stuff... pulled ingredients out of the pantry and fridge to make the apocalypse Dip and Enchiladas Plus side: food was awesome and the family loved it. Downside: the bar has been raised for this guy... now the kids think I can cook. Excellent work sir! Better watch some more videos!
I can never tell whether Sam's reactions and faces he makes are for how good his culinary creations are, or for how hot they are fresh from the cooking vessel and burning his mouth apart.
Sam and Fam I want to thank you 🙏 My husband and I started watching your videos and have begun to eat better because of your encouraging words “you can do it” We bought a set of good pots and pans, a set of good knives 🔪 even a five burner grill from letgo. We were in a rut with my recipes...even my famous pot roast had lost its appeal. We will get through this pandemic and it’s important to use the down time to grow. Learn something new, start a new hobby etc.
Sam, a level headed, frank, funny breath of fresh air (which might not be available to all) who can give us great entertainment, great meals, without any of the pretense of "TV Chefs". My take on Sam.
Sam. I love you. I just found out I got laid off and I’ve never had to experience this before. I’m really scared. Had to take a shower and watch your show to feel decent. I hope you and your family are safe 💕
I hope you know that there's people not commenting who pray for your family and want you and your family to bounce back and use this storm to become stronger than you've ever been.
@@nicolainielsen7700 Hey! These times are definitely not a joke. The countries that have it are going thru hell. Each person's severity is gonna be different. Again, this is NOT a joke. Stay safe my friend!
@@venusflytrap795 As I'm a liver transplant recipient and therefore square in the risk group and terrified as all hell, I know. Joking about it is the only way I know how to cope with the situation.
my mother used to make the meatballs in grape & chili sauce for Christmas back in the '60s-'70s and '80s i loved them. haven't had them since she passed away back then
Never saw the grape jelly thing before, but you have me thinking, frozen meatballs, peanut butter, Asian chili sauce, and peach/apricot jelly (ska saucy susan)
San Diego native - Been watching your show since I was a youngin ( i'm 28 now). Best cooking show around hope you keep at it for many years down the line! My dad saw you buying frozen food a while back and still laughs about it.
Thank you so much for making these lockdown videos! It is giving me hope and inspiration to make easy meals in these tough times. Thank you, thank Max, thank Chance, thank Jill for all y'all do. Much love!
Sam and Max, I'm glad your still posting videos. It definitely helps to lighten the mood. I wish you and your employees at Not Not Tacos the best. Take care
sam sees how quickly his last video is blowing up amidst this period and decided to take advantage of making a part2, viewers appreciates it, and content creator needed it.
Sam: "I saw a lady at the store with pre-made guacamole and I said to her, 'you know, you could make guacamole at home and it'll be much better'. She was pissed." Also Sam: "I have cheez wiz in my pantry"
3:44 I was only half watching and when I looked at my screen, at first glance I thought the can of beans was Nesquik. I was thinking Sam lost his mind.
Looked awesome! You could have definitely filled the burrito more, there was a whoooole thick layer of extra tortilla in there. But appreciate you giving us cooking inspiration during this time especially!
Willie's Mom here again Once this has passed, a Sam the Cooking Guy's Corona Virus Cookbook Should be on every self respecting persons shelf. My idea, you gotta let me help write it. Well done you!
"You got a real purty mouth" and Dueling Banjos.. "Deliverance" FTW! No matter who/how that saying is said, it's always ultra offputting and just unsettling LOL!
Sam, I think the best jelly for those meatballs is plum jelly. If you can't find it, try 2/3 parts grape jelly 1/3 parts apricot jelly with one full part chilli sauce. My family does this every new year's eve and it always disappears.
Thanks, guys. Although I still want to see your version of a seven-layered dip, this is pretty close. I am in Ottawa, CANADA. We are pleased that your Governor is taking this situation seriously and we hope you are all safe! #peace
Gonna try many of these recipes. Must get green onions! (I don't know about you but I can't keep those in the pantry) I'd love to see your version of Shrimp and Grits (or a pasta such as orzo or farina instead of grits) THANKS!
Watching you scoop up the perfect bite of the breakfast bowl made me realize you need a fancy spork. Crate & Barrel has a legit spork and it’s my favorite thing to eat bowls with. Perfect for scooping up the rice and beans, and nice long times for poking egg yolks and stabbing little nuggets of meat or eggs. Get on it!
I'm glad you kept the "Necessity is..." bit. We've got this. We should all treat ourselves with some awesome concoctions of amazing food as demonstrated.
I'm watching this 8 months later in December 2020 we are still in lockdown so ...thank you so much! I have a feeling I'm going to be making every one of these things!!
Love all the videos you have made, and that I have watched. But a large part of me watching your wonderful videos, is the interactions between Max and you.. Coz I have that relationship with my 3 boys 😍. Thank you, Sam and Max
Omg I love that you can say frijoles negros in Spanish lol thank you! 👍 Also I wanted to say please don’t eat the food so hot, it can damage your esophagus and increase your chances of getting throat cancer. Obviously do what you want, but just wanted to let you know because i don’t think many people know that. Much love ❤️ take care :)
OMG I had no idea this type of food was so easy to make! Any hints on jazzing up canned refried beans? I love them but know they are like campbells cream of mushroom soup compared to homemade! Thanks from Canada for the entertaining video.
@@Treyorrrr bro it happened the 2nd he uploaded this video, if you seen it straight away you would've got a notification halfway through this new video advertising this new video....fuck that's hard to explain
Babish’s ‘back to school’ cocktail meatballs.... you can go buck wild with those meatballs.. I did, and they were a total hit; makes no sense but they work! Love work! And I love the “Deliverance” reference! 😂😂😂
