What an amazing amount of work! But, having loved my Giulia Super cars more than any other, I understand. Here in Europe we virtually never see a fuel injected car. Thanks for the great video!
I enjoy watching your videos, a simple solution to sound issues in that shop would be to record your takes with an old iphone 5. I use my old one and the sound quality is crazy better. I wear mine in the upper left pocket of my coveralls in my videos so that the source is as close to my mouth as possible. I will probably get a small wired mic later but it works very well for me so far. Yes you do have to sync the sound but all that takes is using a slate or clapping your hands once in frame for each take to find the graphic sound spike and attach it to the frame of the hands contacting for the clap. Thanks for sharing what you do.
Me again. First and foremost, I can hardly wait until the next video is online !!! I will probably not install any injection but it is incredibly exciting to see how you solve the problems that get in your way! So informative, the 25 minutes are way too short! Fantastic job! I'm looking forward to the new video! Oh, by the way, very nice new intro! And again very cool music at the end!
Daron, your shop does amazing work. I'm wondering if you would consider restoring my '63 Razor's Edge VW Type 34 Ghia. It's not an Alfa, but it's a very interesting car.
Robert P are you kidding!!!! VWs are my crews passion! We all have tons of VW ownership in our lives. My Forman Ariel has dreamt owning a type 34 for years. We have been looking for one for a long time. Insanely rare. Oh how I wish I still had my 21 window, 65 crewcab or even my 57 ragtop. Still have a 65 notchback.
You didn't address it but does the throttle cable bracket on the cross member represent the cable stay were adjustment will occur? I was wondering about engine movement affecting throttle/pump position.
The cable it self is adjustable . However the motor movement in relationship to cable position should be minimal because the pump is very low on the motor and next to the motor mount.
Roman P you caught me. The frame rack is ten feet away and measurements were done before transferring to the lift. However in the ONE case measurement can be done from the top down to achieve nearly the same results. As for the shirt, it comes from. thecurbshop.com
