Their loves weren't similar at all. Her husband actually paid attention to her; they went out together, threw parties with her, encouraged her in her public duties, protected her from his mother, etc. She was not depressed, ignored or neglected. And the affairs were hardly behind her back.

@@willowwillow9845 yes but the royal family didn't ruin Queen Alexandra's life though. During her time men's infidelity wasn't that big of a deal in the upper class. Also she was happy with her children, and her life. But times have changed and monogamy is the norm. Diana wasn't weak but Alexandra was the Queen consort meaning she was the second-most respected person in the family, after her husband, and probably some things were easier for Alexandra when compared to Diana. I mean the whole family stood against Diana, i can't imagine how traumatic it was for her. But like i said different times., different social norms. At least Queen Alexandra didn't die because of the royal family. And we have to take into consideration that during Alexandra's time royal family's every move wasn't televised or something. We didn't know every major detail. But now everything the royal family does is known and it puts strain to their relationship with the public.
