Queen Bees - a West Yorkshire Spring Ale 

A short film about the making of a Honey Beer in February and March 2024.
It was a collaboration between the Runaway Brewery, based in Stockport, the Crafty Beer Girls, The Halifax Beekeepers Association and Brew Wild Project
The Honey Beer was made with 14 kilos of Honey provided by the Halifax Beekeepers Association, combined with Forced Yorkshire Rhubarb and root ginger, using a champagne yeast
The beer style was a fresh Spring Ale. The beer was named Queen Bees by the Crafty Beer Girls
One key aim of the beer was to raise awareness of Yellow Legged Asian Hornet
