Who doesn't indeed miss Freddie. It doesn't help that every time I turn on the tv, there is an advert accompanied by a Queen track. Ford are the latest company to do this with We Will Rock you. Ford, the backbone of Britain says the advert. So were Queen the backbone of Britain in the 70s and 80s and still are. The backbone of rock. The greatest band ever.

There were three brands using Don’t Stop Me Now at the same time. Now that they are back on the top of the game I wish Brian and Rog would pull back selling the songs for commercial use.

I saw a interview from 1981 and Roger said this "I think freddies voice is getting better and I think mines probably getting worse." Then he jokes "its unfair because his older than me." My parents laughed when I showed them what Roger said. I'm seeing the perform next year.

To me, Freddie is only one part of Queen. Brian, Roger, and John, with Freddie, is the complete Queen package.

QUEEN is a band, not a one person member. Brian May, Roger Taylor and John Deacon are never background scenery.

@Susie Q - I haven't seen the documentary (and likely won't) but agree with you re: John Deacon. I saw a video several months ago where the question of why John was no longer performing with the other two was asked and Roger said and this is an almost exact quote, "John was always frail. I think he's sociopathic." If Roger knows what "sociopathic" means and didn't use the wrong word unintentionally, I lost all respect for Roger.

@@SonshineLady7 - It appears Deaky was always very introverted and shy and possibly suffered from depression for a while. In interviews they needed a crowbar to extract a sentence from him. I hope that is not true but have heard it may be and that he was treating it with alcohol, a common thing for people do. Freddie's death could have been the tipping point. Depression is a terrible illness and not the same as being a sociopath. If Taylor was being flippant, it is not at all funny. He should know better. Depression is a true chemical imbalance in the brain and sufferers are often very intelligent. It is not a sign of weakness as some people believe. Sadly, people avoid the sufferer or make fun of them out of ignorance or because they are uncomfortable and don't know what to do. At least John appears to have a close family and maybe being out of the limelight will be his saving grace. I wish him the best as a long time fan.

Susie Q agreed. Freddie looked out for John -after seeing this documentary you know why.

Likely butt hurt fans of others. But it doesn’t change the fact that Queen and Lambert are phenomenally successful. Ignore the haters. They take nothing away from Brian, Roger and the incredibly talented Mr. Lambert.

I'm seeing Queen + Adam Lambert next year in February in Sydney Australia. Already counting the days.

If you've seen the real stuff, why pay for anything that is less.
