Anne couldn't be a more well rounded kind respectful and loving daughter. I noticed that the Queen quickly realized that it IS NOT easy to cut a cake, (which likely was chilled FONDANT), especially since she flipped the Sword UPSIDE DOWN which is the DULL SIDE OF A KNIFE. SHE WAS GETTING A LITTLE FRAZZLED especially, I think, because she was going to have to admit to her daughter that she needed help. Since all of my 9 Grandchildren but one, are young adults. My adult 'kids" enjoy ribbing me about my getting older. I know how the Queen felt at that moment, I think. I'm Certain that Anne thought absolutely Nothing of it...but I suspect the Queen felt it all.

Over 70 yrs, I'm guessing she learned that was the best way.

It's so symphatic and human, how Princess Anne was caring about her mother the Queen. Like every good and loving human daughter. In the past I didn't see her so often, but at least she showed her mother love and greatest respect. Stunning

Yes, this is very cute of Princess Anne, but am sure, there was no "need" for help. Both, HM and her daughter Princess Anne, knew that she, Queen ElizabethIi,, saw the near ending life and Princess Anne simply wanted to be nearby her mother. The love of mother and daughter, I suggest, is coming from nature and also Royal Princess Anne makes no difference to human people, only the difference is that Anne's mother is the Queen. I've red that Princess Anne lived on the castle for the last week's, so think it's great that Princess Anne has done that, she is absolutely authentic, everybody knows that Princess Anne did and does nothing for the press or the people to show, she, how I suggest, accompanied her mother because of love.

And she passed away on the day my late mother-in-law from Sierra Leone was born. She once met the Queen in Freetown a year before the country became independent. Every time we met she told about. Besides she was one of the few African women who went to study together with her late husband in London in the early 1960ies.

It’s a mum and grandma thing, I think. When my Mum died I strangely thought, the Queen’s still here. My Mum respected her a lot. We’ve truly been in a special age to have a woman be on the throne from such a young age to now. Through all the stages of her life. That’s real Girl Power and independence. I will miss her.

She ran a country successfully. Charles needed to be given a decent pen. We all have had troubles with fountain pens. Remember he was mourning, lack of sleep sndin misery too after losing his dear mom. We as humans need to be empathetic.

@@bwenluck9812 Not just fondant but most cakes like that in England, wedding cake, Christmas cake and fruit cake tend to have a thick layer of marzipan underneath aswell.
