such a precious video as we get to see Princess Margaret during her heydey, i have always admired her for her beauty and owned books on her, not many people were aware she was so beautiful till the crown. and here you can see how charming the Queen Mother is. Roger Moore looking so young and handsome. All no longer with us, so sad.
Wow, I couldn't take my eyes off of Queen Mother's tiara! England owes a debt to Queen Mother, she helped the King so much. She truly loved her Kingdom.
I'm so happy and thrilled because H.M. the Queen Mother spends quite a long time addressing my all-time fav Dame Shirley Bassey (and Dame Olivia de Havilland! So classy and beautiful!) And, by the way, H.M. looks so regal, ... a real Queen. And Princess Margaret was a gorgeous "treat" too, what a stunning Lady. Golden Age!
Princess Margaret would have made a beautiful and regal Queen. She is stunning here. When she looked good she looked really good. She also was one of the most beautiful brides ever.

She did her duty, just as any royal member would. Instead of feeling sorry, admire her. They said she wasn't happy and yet she continuously served her nation and its people.
Love Princess Margaret, and totally relate to her. Highly sensitive, smart and charismatic. They forced her light to be dimmed because of antiquated Royal traditions. Had she been allowed to spread her wings and be truly happy in love, she would have lived joyfully for a longer period.
Esp stupid tradition of marriage rule, her wings were already broken. British should have cherished her as national treasure. She was funny too. Her unhappiness turned into chained smoke n drinks, omg. I got shocked when I saw her on a wheel chair next to her healthy mum.

The tiaras that the royals owns wont cost anything to put on. So why the clammor if they bling it up? Theyre monarchs. They're decorations anyway. Show us the diamonds!
We live in jealous, culturally socialist times. There would be immediate calls to have the jewels expropriated and sold to fund social housing or something, or sent "back" to India. And worst of all: Harry and Meghan would support the socialists from the inside.

@@samadams2575 @Sam Adams Simple, the Chruch of England's rule changed in 2002. The rule change came as part of the General Synod of that year and I think it modernised the church laws. I remember hearing that the church teaches that marriage is for life or something. And I think it also said that some marriages sadly fail and if that happens, it seeks to be available for all involved. That's why the Queen approved Harry's marriage to Meghan although the fact that she's divorced. That's why Prince Charles was also allowed to marry Camilla in 2005. It's so messed up, really. But imagine if that rule was approved way back then, like in the 30s, Edward VIII would've married in England nevertheless and become king. But I hope it was changed at the time Princess Margaret really wanted to marry Peter Townsend.
I can never quite put my finger on it but wasn’t keen on Queen mum, I found her to appear a bit false. Her facial expression always seemed fixed and a bit haughty.

All I see here are comments of people criticizing the royals for being royals!! Get it over with!! Some people are born inside privilege and wealth, what can you do? I find it very interesting that there's monarchy, however constitutional, in England and Sweden, for example. Creates a bond between the old and new world and show us a classy way of doing things that, unfortunately, is LONG GONE! maybe we should stop looking at how much money they have because they're royals, and see how we should learn manners around society! Just to add up, I think the royals being representative of the country also brings some kinda of pride to the people of the country, which is beautiful and unites both democracy (the freedom of being and saying what you are/want) and monarchy (the traditional, old fashioned values)...
