Scene: taps into the true and profound inner depths of being immortal, all the reality, hope and despair that comes with it. 1 minute in a 1 1/2 hour long movie Producers: LETS CUT IT!!!!
Gotta love Vincent Perez (Marius). One of the more remarkable actors in this movie. I would love his interpretation of Marius in another VC movie. Shame he acts mainly in French movies; I'd love to see him in others.
I think it was symbolic in my opinion because in the books Marius was Lestat's adoptive creator so to speak because he taught Lestat about being a vampire.
i dont see the point in cutting 30 seconds for "pacing". its not slowing things down, its 30 seconds of a scene that ended up chopped up for no reason.
Magnus was his maker. It was so sad. Lestat learned to love him and then he was already gone. But Magnus was also a ghost and a thief so right, he was no good. Marius compared to Magnus was an angel
Marius was more of a vampire mentor to Lestat than Magnus. For whatever reason, the studio decided to condense two books of material into one movie, so a bunch of material is going to be cut to keep the movie around a 100 minutes long.
Who would of thought Marius (Roman name from the Roman times) is talking to me. These people around me must not know about us. Marius already disowned me, I took care of myself. Marius got pissed when Queen Akashas son woke up, Little Prince Caesarion (ya I heard her in Italy).
heehee, so cute, his eyes were like sparkle dust! its a good thing we are all stupid morons who didnt read the books, and therefore have no idea that this movie was a disgusting piece of tragic butchery and Anne Rice herself did everything she could to stop it, not to mention she describes it as simply someone taking the names of her characters and slapping it over stupid hollywood shit. teehee, god, we're so stupid.
@@ItsD49 ironically Louis is actually the most bloodthirsty and pathetic vampire in the series - he kills humans opportunistically instead of seeking out criminals, and he wastes his life drifting instead of building a decent life for himself.
