@@curtisdaniel9294 HRH Princess Anne used to visit Ireland at the height of the troubles when it was deemed unsafe and unwise to do so. Sharing her undoubted love for horses and the training and breeding of them with the Irish. This can be taken as an excellent form of bridge-building and keeping links between these 2 islands. Something to be regarded highly regardless of the political heat and animosity that can exist at times between Europes 2 North Atlantic islands.
I'm so glad the ceremonies in Scotland were added at the beginning - the Queen seemed to love that place so. Princess Anne has been such a rock during this time.
There is the thing that in spite of there being a desire for independence for Scotland the question of what form that will take is not cut and dried or decided. It might be a Republic or it might be a Dual Monarchy like what existed between Austria and Hungary at the beginning of the last century. SNP plans are for a separation from Westminster and Edinburgh Parliaments at a political level. The question of Head of State is left open. The challenge for the Royal Family in the future will be to try and preserve the institution of the Monarchy north of the border regardless of what happens at Prime Ministerial level and below.
I think that the whole journey was planned time ago ..thats why she stayed in Balmoral so long lately...in order to give the opportunity to people of Scotland and Ireland to farewell her and to show she was their Queen too..and at last London as the Capital of UK..it wouldnt be the same if she happened to die in London..

That act instituted absolute primogeniture (oldest child inherits regardless of gender), but only for people born after 28 October 2011. Anne still comes behind all of her brothers, even though Andrew and Edward are both younger than she.

One of the news stations said that QE2 requested that Princess Anne accompany her body throughout the process. QE2 understood how The Firm In wanting to establish KC3 might crowd PA out. Shows how sensitive QE2 was to the process and tried to honor and respect her daughter’s needs even in her spiritual absence.

Everything she did, she did for her country and her people. Plus, there was also her service in WWII. She was more than just a Queen, she was a soldier, she was a warrior, she was a hero... My friends daughter is a Highland Dancer here in Canada. In early August they travelled to Scotland and performed the last performance for the Queen!!❤🇨🇦❤🇨🇦❤

The way the military handles the fallen as with Queen Elizabeth is awesome to watch with discipline and attention to detail. Also respect to Princess Anne as she been at her mother's side all the way from Balmoral to London. It must be so stressful for her to be in that position and she has performed well.

The Scotts have been magnificent. It felt strangely sad when she left Scotland as if a part of her didn't want to leave the peace of the beautiful land and the kind thoughtfulness of the people.
Somehow it was strangely fitting that the weather was beautiful as she flew away from Scotland for the last time, as if the country itself made itself beautiful for her. And that it was raining in London as she landed, as it that nation was crying for her.

I think The Queens whole family needs to be applauded. When we have family members pass, we have time to grieve. They have been so busy in the public eye since last week. They must be exhausted. She was our Queen but they have lost their mum, grandmother and great grandmother.

For the passed several days reporters have mentioned nearly all Britons have a story of either meeting the queen or connection with an event of the queen's. I am an American, and I have this connection. I made the jet tail cones for that C17 Globe master. I made hundreds of them when most of that model plane was being built in the early '90s. Motors I made, metaphorically horses I raised, drew the queen's casket from Edinburgh to London.

Just wishing her final flight could have been in that old Lancaster she enjoyed doing a fly past during her Jubilee..,it gave her so much pleasure to hear it’s unique sound, such as she heard regularly during WW2, that I thought her last flight could have pleased her to have been in that. But in all honesty I do understand the impracticalities there would have presented. It was just wishful thinking on my part.🌹
