I think Queen is a perfect band because of their artistry. I don't love every song but I do love their willingness to think outside of the box musically, Freddie especially. Too many bands get stuck in a musical rut while living in fear of losing their core audience. Real artists take chances in order to grow creatively.

I love how Roger is essentially described as the "hot one", Brian as the "nice one" (he is, I mean, an absolute sweetheart) and John as the "quiet one". :D And it's pointed out what a smart and educated bunch they were. It's so clear what an impression they made on their peers, that everyone kinda looked up to them to some degree. ♥

I don't care what anyone says. Freddie mercury was incredibly beautiful.

I loved everything about QUEEN

John Entwhistle is the bass player for Who. He was joking about the heavier bass. The only thing that made me laugh was how Mick Jagger and Keith Richards, they seemed to think it was amusing that the Stones were being compared to Queen. Queen is better and more versatile than the Stones, anyday.

I used to have this as part of a Queen video documentary I owned on VHS (yes, that's how old I am). John Entwhistle's comment that John Deacon should play a 'heavier' bass was clearly meant as an in-joke between him and the band - in the original video there's another little clip of him referencing the joke, but the way the youtube clip is edited removes that additional clip, so it can give the misleading impression that he's being critical of John, when it was actually just some kind of in-joke.

I don't normally watch the "reaction" type videos, but I'm glad I clicked on yours. Great job! I love how you love and admire Queen and Freddie. No other rock band has gone down in history at the level that they have, and well deserved. I wish Freddie were still here with us. It's true that Freddie and Queen's harmonies were magnificent and special. Just to point out that Freddie often over dubbed himself in some of their songs, and those harmonies were just him. For example, the opening portion of Bohemian Rhapsody is Freddie only, where he sang each part on top of each other. But the master arranger of Queen's group harmonies was Brian. He's the one who created the Queen vocal sound. They were all stupendous in their own right. I'm also loving Queen + Adam Lambert. Adam is no Freddie Mercury, but I really appreciate him for helping to keep Freddie and Queen's music alive in our hearts and on stage. Keep up the good work, Tra!

Deacon used a Fender bass that does not produce the deep bass sound that something like a Rickenbacker will. But I think the lighter bass fit the Queen sound. No arguing with success!

We Brits are self deprecating and have a very very dry sense of humour. What you take literally are jokes. It’s British sarcasm. Believe me when we say “ it was alright “ we mean it or they were amazing, magnificent, glorious, I could go on but you get the gist. We are not bombastic like Americans. No offence, but true. 👍.

I'm very particular about what music I listen to and there are quite a few songs I don't like from queen but I can always appreciate the musical skills all of them brought to the table.

The few artist who were saying "negative" things about Queen got a lot of sh*t in the comments of that video. What they don't get is all those artist were friends of the band members, so they were of course joking. They used to hang out together whenever they had a chance
